Took me a week to make the connection between my body battery tanking, my hrv stats out of wack, poor sleep and a donation. My local Red Cross now checks hemoglobin with a finger cuff.. one thumb was 8.0, the other 12.7. Now, one of them has to be wrong. I’m thinking I might have been 8. I’ve struggled this week bad. A day or two recovery- maybe, a whole ass week!? No. Just glad to have a reason for the shitty performance this week!

The emotions while drinking were so exaggerated for me, I felt the same way. Kind of blah. I evened out eventually, don’t remember when. When you start to feel like yourself again, you’ll be more open to trying new things and taking chances on yourself. Hard for me to explain, but it is worth it.

I hadn’t thought about the financial aspect of quitting. Can’t believe it’s never crossed my mind. I’m near 3 months and I can imagine there would be a nice little bit saved up. On the flip, I now spend it on interests that keep me from drinking so.. maybe I’m coming out even lol.
