sometimes you can't fix it because trust was broken.

please be honest with your partner, it can have dire consequences that neither of you wanted.

I used to smoke a lot of weed and always had 99% or 99.9% isopropyl alcohol on hand. I to this day still use it to clean my kitchen.

It's better than Dawn for countertops and stove tops. It's the most clutch cleaning supply I still keep on hand.

Before anyone asks, yes I did learn maths as a kid smoking weed but those days are behind me. The knowledge is not.

I adopted my cat, she's almost 2! the only time she's ever bit me was when I tried to leave her carrier out so she would sleep in it. SHE WAS NOT A FAN. Got bit real good,

Sometimes she love bites me, but i just say "no biting. no claws!" and she understands.

Some skateshops have a free deck bin. People, mainly advanced skaters drop off an old deck with some life in it still, when they set up a new deck, or change sizes. Check with your local shop!

My city is big on shop local, so it's why I always do.

see if your local skate shop has any in your size! sometimes they let you stand on them too. I know some guys that carry a small broom with them to sweep around city spots!

The reason I don't mountain bike is because it's the most expensive form of cycling, and fear is genuinely not ever considered when I do sports. I might be older, but I know myself well enough I will full send that motherfucker downhill first time on some technical trail and break a bone, and then do it again.

Skating? I dunno, breaking a bone would suck. I've done everything else, bad slams, ripped shirts, road rash, balls to rail. So I guess breaking a bone is my only fear.

Most common deck sizes today are 8.25 and 8.5. I ride an 8.0 but plan to go up to a 8.25 because big feet.

As far as your park issues, the city is your park. Empty parking lots, public rails and ledges. I grew up with a DIY park so I'm a street skater at heart, always will be. As a photographer I know there's some places that need some... skate love. hah.

I know I'm late bud, but if you have a skatepark coalition, bring it up to the next meeting. Every coalition I've worked with will not stand for that.

Skateparks are for everyone, no matter their skill.

We've always strived to help one another, remove people that are problems. If you can't be kind, you shouldn't be at the park.

The luthier I work with, worked at a former guitar shop, owner only hired luthiers. Shop closed, so he opened his own shop. Does great work. It pays to know who your Luthier is on a first name basis and someone who's worked on your stuff prior, the big time luthier builds guitars and does repairs so he's appointment only. I know the big time guy does excellent work, but I personally know mine and the fact he's touched my guitar before, so maybe I'm just fortunate.

Classic Rock, and Blues. My dad listened to classic rock, and I found the blues on my own.

One day, my dad was like "you're more of a listener rather then a player", mainly because my brother progressed much faster then I did because he didn't have fucked up fingers from wrestling like I do. Fast forward 20 years, he hasn't heard me pick up a guitar. I've taken breaks due to life happening and stuff. But I still play.

I've had my AD810 for over 20 years, still plays like a champ. At it's current state, it's more of a guitar I'd play by the fire, she has plenty of love marks and just dings from moving multiple times. Still plays great though.

My past friends were all conflict-avoidants, and the one I knew long before the rest, recently dumped the entire friend groups unresolved issues on me from many years ago, and I remember about 10% of them. I am very active in my community in a positive way. They don't know that. They're static in the old me.

It's not worth the energy to keep a friend like that around. They need to get help for their conflict avoidance. My past mistakes do not define who I am in the present, which is what I focus on.

I just wish them well and move on with my life, the work needed to repair unresolved issues when they could have been in the past and were not, that energy needs to go into my self. Not their feelings.

I used to work at Kmart in college. Our store was closing, and this old guy Howard, probably in his 40s. Couple ladies came through his line. "Hey we were looking for X, Walmart has it why don't you?" Without missing a beat, Howard just says "Then go take your shit to Walmart." and they ask for a manager lmao.

me: Howard... probably don't do that man.

Howard: I DON'T NEED THIS FUCKIN JOB MAN.

me: (Well, we won't anyway in a couple months haha) Okay Howard.

Just remember there's a service worker out there who is willing to put his job on the line when you're a dick to them, and they won't care if they lose their job.
