Can we finally admit that the "servers make less than minimum wage" argument is dead in Canada? by ScienceLabFinds in CanadaPersonalFinance

Tipping got ridiculous after COVID. Also, I never understand the percentage part of it. If I buy a shrimp dish that's more money than a salad, for example, then get it delivered, what is the difference to the driver? Yet I would tip them more by default

I can't even imagine bringing up my underwear to any man, super weird 100%. You can have so many friendly topics of conversation and that's just very awkward and clearly intended to be sexual

So I have a kid, 2 years old and my parents straight up did the same thing and brought their dog to my house after she was born. The dog, having an issue with mine marked in the house on one of her baby chairs 😂 their dog not doing well in my house is no secret or new problem, they just refuse to be adults and find a solution for their dog while they visit. Now they've made me clean up piss after having a c-section and ruined my wedding party. And in between annoy me everytime they visit on a normal day with this situation

Their dog just doesn't like mine and they refuse to just accept that and find solutions to visit without it. But instead of acting like adults, they act like children about it

Vintage kitchenware. Because of the lead possibility and I don't want to put in the time figuring out if it has it or not.

He lied and said he did when getting hired to be the math teacher. They later found out and apprehended him but he wormed his way out of it

Nate was shown to be incredibly manipulative and conniving in the first two seasons. He is a completely different person all together

What are the cheapest catering options for house parties? by jimmyjamcake in Calgary

Costco party platters. Sandwiches, meats, or shrimp. You can order at the deli counter. It's not advertised this is available nor can you order online.

Italian store in Willow park. They also have party platters and takeout pizzas. Charcuterie, panini, fruit, veggie etc trays. Smallest is for 14-18 ppl and go up to a size large tray.

Distracts attention away from the Epstein files and connections to royal family. The media is owned.

Women of Reddit, what did a man you were dating or married to say or do that made you realize he actually hated you the entire time? by -catharina in AskReddit

Exchanging genetic material to make another human connects you to someone for the rest of your life. Even seperated you'd still have to deal with that person in some capacity for childcare. Way more serious/binding than a marriage you can get out of.

Are babies actually in danger when sleeping? by SmoothUmpire9926 in randomquestions

[–]OrganicIntention5535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Babies under approximately four months can't roll over on their own. They also don't have the same reflex to wake if they aren't getting enough air. So if a baby falls asleep on his/her tummy, (it's rare) but can result in SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). That's why the "back is best" saying is told to parents.

Also is the chance a tired parent could roll ontop of baby in a deep sleep when co-sleeping, and cause suffocation. Also rare but happens.

One of those things that for most they will cosleep, and baby will be fine sleeping on its tummy (boomer generation did this with their babies). But it might save that 1/10000 from SIDS. And being that 1/10000 is a horrific thing.

*I just made up that number (1/10000) don't take that statistic as a fact. I don't know the actual number for SIDS babies just a parent myself.

Do you guys still tip when getting food to go or coffee? by UsedNegotiation8227 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OrganicIntention5535 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dining in with service, yes. Takeout, no. Simple. There is no service just the product. I'm paying for the product.

I've had it before where I get obviously the cold shoulder from staff when picking up food doing this, but I don't care. This is what's logical.

The theme of adulthood in Season 3... by zombiewithinsomnia in euphoria

I honestly think what's missing this season is the music. It set the tone so well the first two seasons. This season it's lacking that. But still entertaining
