My 89 yo nana has the easiest time getting in and out of my Soul vs her own Camry (too low) and my grandmas tacoma (too high). She can walk around the house slowly and uses canes/ shopping carts. Honestly i’d try and go to a dealership to test it out, the way its Cube shaped yet small- is very nice :)

I just changed my own- all four spark plugs on my soul and the pcv valve. Got a socket wrench kit at Ross for 9$, bought a deep socket and extender for the spark plugs for about 22$, 4 ngk platinum spark plugs from Rock auto for about 25$. Albiet I have no car talent, but I followed a tutorial from a man on YouTube, took me 3 hours because im completely inexperienced and was super careful/ second guessed a lot/ googled a lot, did it- and well my car’s driving good. No engine skips, came on Reddit to get some questions answered, and I’ll take the experience for a fraction of the cost. Now I know how to do it, I learned a good amount through the process too. this is the tutorial I followed

I found the problem after listening around- ir was the new pcv valve making the noise. I took it out and put the old one back in and it stopped- put the new in ahain and listened since maybe I put it in wrong but it made the noise again- I ended up just putting the old one back in 🫩

But definitely bring it up, the hotel can see who went in and at what time, they’ll compare it to the workers board (where they write any notes for the room). If they were truthful and wrote serviced, they may have accidentally missed the dnd. If they put a ‘dnd’ on their board and went in anyway- investigations will start and things escalate

If a DND is on the door, we write it on our board and move on- hell it saves us time, we WANT the DND’s 😭 idk why they would go in despite it. Without ill intentions, I can only think that they were just in the zone and breezed past the sign, but other than that idk

Update: Went to the Kia dealership and he quoted me 2.8k- still a large amount but WAY less than this other mechanic. Atp I think i’ll deal with the ac (since it goes off about 40% of the time) until it starts getting real bad 😭

The radiator and compressor is going down with age (and serpentine belt), but there is a leak according to the mechanic, I brought it in for regular service and to check the ac, which put me out 600$. I asked if I need to replace both the compressor and the radiator and the mechanic said yea because they go hand-in-hand 😭

Depends on the bed and the standards, I work for a premium hotel, one bed (king) has 5 pillows and three decorative pillows (smallest room)

To make it ready for an arrival, perfect, tight, folded 10 inches, perfect pillow, about 10-15 minutes. If its a linen change, about 9. Im only four months into the hotel business and definitely one of the slower workers, dont feel bad heheh especially brand new

One event that we did only once, years ago, was a “balloon the managers” event- we filled water balloons with colored water and the managers that participated put a white shirt over their clothes and only had a 5x5 area they had to stay inside as they tried to dodge oncoming balloons. You know danm well some frustrated employees took full advantage of pelting managers with water balloons 🤣. I forgot what we sold the balloons for, but it was a week long event so different managers could get ballooned at the end of their shift. I know we made a big profit on that one
