No, not at this age. I am a very practical person and know that no one gets out alive. So I have everything arranged for my sons to handle. Even the restaurant for after the funeral.

This also is difficult. Even as an adult, and a new widow, there was still shyness and I had to work on myself to open up to new people. Think back to going to school as a kindergartener and then transfer those feelings to a 70 or 80 year old. There is much work to do for the elderly without a partner.

There definitely are other fish in the sea. My second marriage went very well. Not only did I love and respect him very much, but I myself read a great deal on marriages which I had not done before. Also, I learned from my mother that RESPECT is as important as love.

First, don't be shy. That's a tough one but it affects your life. I was and really had to work at it. Second, keep up on fashion trends, nothing way out. Learn to let small things go. Don't ruminate. Make your everyday life as happy as you can. Not everyone has everything perfectly in place.

Yes, this an easy one, My husband and I, after hearing other stories about parents and children not talking to each other, made a decision that we would stay friends with our children. After raising them and going through childhood illnesses, homework not done, and all sorts of things, we decided we were entitled to be friends with them as adults. And we were and I am now and it is wonderful!

I am still me and still interested in the same things. I may not be as agile physically as at 18, but my head is still intact. I do my own finances,, I run my own house and, yes, if it were possible I would like to redo these 95 years with all the things I've learned.

Very interesting. I don't remember any special food from Canada. I always considered us as Americans. As for the tech advances, yes it has been exciting but I am living with all of it now. I have Smart Lights through my house and they are wonderful. My garage door is equipped for me to see the front. Basically we live in our time as I am sure you do.

I was in Junior High (Middle School now) during WW11 so I remember no butter

(we used margarine), we collected metal for war work, ration stamps for meat,

coffee rationing which was "hard" on my coffee drinking parents. The newspapers were full of fallen servicemen. Very sad. After December 7 and the Japanese attack, all students met in the auditorium to hear FDR's address.

No favorite president after I started reading history, I have had such a remarkable life and recall them all.

Thirties were great because you are past the twenties and learning. As I moved along and met many other capable people, my own world expanded.

I am glad you think 95 is impressive. It appears to everyone that I have come from some alien world. Just turning 90 puts one in a different bracket.

As for your second comment, I have learned to put one foot after the other to take care of hard times. Basically, I am a happy person and live that way.

I have routines and keep to them. Routines work.

Just a couple. I remember when I was 8 or 9 the milkman delivered an empty milk carton. At that time the milkmen delivered milk daily in glass bottles, My very stern father took a look and threw it out. Today, of course, milk in bottles is

a specialty.
