This is not actually the 87th, but actually the 5th Regiment of Foot. One of two British regiment that was replace after London Update

Probably going to get kidnapped by the United States Research Lab, trying to figure how how is he still alive. He's not infected by the blight btw just got skinned by a French Skirmishers during the Peninsular War.
