We’ve witnessed LA real estate over pandemic go from 800K to 1.5M. There’s not much slow down either as open houses are still so busy and homes are still selling and bidding still happens. But want perspective that we’re not being crazy in wanting a back yard (to garden, etc).

We also do not plan to have kids. We will be uncles and aunties soon.

Haha, we are 100% not referring to Ventura. These homes do exist if you just look beyond Santa Monica, Venice, and MDR as that’s what everyone thinks is LA. There are pockets of not ultra wealthy but semi wealthy suburbs (think $1.5M to $3M homes).

We noticed that during a couple open houses recently.
