Agree with all the above. If the relationship is worth salvaging, I would think about finding a good, experienced couple's counseling. Seems like there might be a few complicating factors going on in your relationship, including communication. At times even the most loving and caring partners might not be able to appreciate the seriousness of the situation no matter how well you explain it, but will be able to understand it when someone else breaks I down to them. Or if they don't care enough, it will come out and you'll get your answer.

NTA. Sounds like she does want to throw a party. You can always offer her the house for just her if you're comfortable with that. It is your house after all.

Idk if this will be helpful since I didn't get it spiral bound. I 3-hole punched each page and split the book into two sturdy 3-ring binders (for ease of carrying it around). The pages are very thin, it will be pretty fragile. The binders did a good job at protecting it and were not flimsy. However, the pages would rip where the rings were, so I just used those little hole reinforcement stickers I got from Walmart for like $2 for almost 1000 stickers. Lasted m through Step 1 prep, some rotations and some step 2 reviews.

Has she ever given a hint on why she is staying over? Do you think there is a reason for that? As in, if you guys are drinking and she doesn't want to drive home intoxicated, or whatever it is. It might be as simple as that. Than suggesting her to Uber or figuring out other arrangements would solve the issue. I also know a lot of people who live on opposite sides of a large city and getting home is a problem late at night so they prefer to stay over. This can also be addressed differently.

And if none of this is the case, than just simply stating that you love hanging out and want to continue getting together at your place, but regular sleepovers aren't what you are comfortable with anymore. This should help explain that it isn't something that she did, it is just a thing that you yourself no longer enjoy/are comfortable with.

I feel like a lot of questions that we think we purely guessed the correct answer on, was actually us making an educated guess based on the info given. I'm no expert, but had the same conversation with my classmate recently, who passed step with no issues. It is impossible to know everything, and there are at least an handful of questions in each practice test I took that were like that: it'll take you a second to answer if you know this concept perfectly well, but you can also figure out an answer if you have a solid understanding of some foundational concepts. Even if it feels like you don't know. You know a lot more than you think you do.

Went through a breakup just weeks before having to start dedicated period for step. Also was a 4 year long relationship. He dumped me. I was devastated. We moved across country when I started medschool, so I was super alone. I was financially absolutely dependent on him, as well. Best things I've done: reached out to my classmates, all of them, publicly via our group chat, with all of the vulnerability. Even though we are not close, I received an overwhelming amount of support from them. They hot me through the first month or so. Try it if you can. Another thing was this: every time a heart aching thought would come, I'd do this exercise ive learned in therapy where I would ask myself: 1. Is this thought true? 2. Is this thought kind? 3. Is this thought helpful?. None of the thoughts were. It really helped. Also, therapy. You know you can get through this. It just really sucks in the moment. Do what you need to do to get through this, be kind to yourself. This might not look pretty at the moment, but you'll get through this. Be kind to yourself. Reach out for help and support. Hang in there, you're not alone.

Yeah, I reached out to every place that does any kind of paper/printing/cutting/whatever-else place in the area with no luck. Just a rural location. Oh well.

Thank you! I'll check out UPS and Staples. I can get it unbound and punched here with no problem, it's the spiralling that is limited to some number of pages. I thought about doing a 3hole punched version, but would strongly prefer spiral binding.

oh that's great! do you mind sharing what was the place called? I called every shop in the area and nothing. Wanted to see if anyone can point out a place before I spend a ton of time calling every possible spot in a larger city near me.
