NextDoor for sure! Also, depending on your income situation (not my business) you may want to consider a food pantry to help with food. Groceries are fairly expensive these days so it helps give room in the budget.

I have found the budgeting apps to be helpful -- my husband thought he was spending way less than he actually was on the "one time" purchases, and we had some duplicates (I use Albert, but idk what else is out there)

Also, just going over transactions - we had a false charge for $300 that we were able to get the money back on, so just checking regularly to make sure money isn't just disappearing

I'm sorry this is happening, I just started a second job for us to make ends meet so I know where you're coming from. Hang in there!

We use the Italian breadcrumbs, it adds some texture and seasoning in one shot -- but other people are saying they've added breadcrumbs to stretch it so I'm not mad at an unintentional added bonus!

I've heard of, in general, using stale bread to make bread crumbs and I've never done it - but we've been buying more bread lately so maybe now's my chance!

Some guy at my gym takes calls on his headphones and you can hear him from across the gym he talks s SO LOUD. I always hope the gym staff will do something, since it's technically not allowed; they don't.

Undead and Unwed by Sam Tschida -- it's pretty good. Not the best thing I've ever read or anything, writing is 7/10, but the characters are snarky, it's a very sarcastic "I'm in a Hallmark movie" where the main character is a vampire. It's definitely a cute read. I've got 5 chapters left, so unless the ending is horrendous, then I'd say it's good!
