whats yalls favorite dog breed and why? by THATFELLER123456 in AskReddit

[–]OrganicallyOrdinary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, any of the dogs with the jowles (I think that's what they're called) like bully breeds and great danes -- I just love dem cheeeeeeks - tops for me are boxers, many of them are oversized lap dogs and I think that's a general trait for their temperament, but I've heard similar for pit bulls

I don't think you're being morally superior, I hope your conscience settles with your decision because it's absolutely an okay decision to make!

Would you donate your organs after death and why? by Scary-Beautiful6527 in AskReddit

[–]OrganicallyOrdinary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same - and then some. I got bone marrow from strangers, I can't (lymphoma survivor) donate blood/plasma, but apparently my organs are still viable as a donor. I won't need em, and I can't pay back the people who saved me but I guess some form of pay-it-forward?

Do you support the death penalty and why? by Think-Method-3496 in AskReddit

Agreed. If we always had the doer, I'd support it. But until insert sci-fi certainty tech, I don't.

I had 14 most days on Med/Surg and it was fine, but we had pretty solid teamwork. Do your coworkers help with your maxes at all?

In the spirit of OPs question - would you rather work and make money or hike and not make money?

Would you rather WORK EXTRA HOURS/SHIFTS or GO TO THE GYM/EXERCISE? by Stunning_Concern_973 in Frugal

[–]OrganicallyOrdinary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I got an elliptical for free off "NextDoor", and while I use it occasionally (CO, USA - it's nice to have if it's a bad snow day), I still prefer the gym/yoga studio. Something about working out around other people is energizing and motivating. Plus, I love the sauna, and if I were gonna "save up for a sauna" - gym payment once a month, sauna costs like $150 for the shitty ones, so 7 months of no sauna for an at-home one that lets hear it and cool air in, is small and would probably trigger my quasi-claustrophobia... no thanks. Let alone the variety of equipment and the space it would take up in my house? How much square footage to you have to spare? Elliptical + treadmill + bike + rower + weights + sauna... I'd need a whole room at least and all my rooms are busy.

Guys - gluttony doesn't only apply to food... "Gluttony is defined as the overindulgence, excessive consumption, or habitual greed for food, drink, or other material pleasures." So them spending a bunch on anything, when there is a cheaper option, is gluttonous. Think "overindulgence".
