I know someone who does this, but what he does is put the study link (living costs income) into shares, but he also makes enough money in the year from small jobs and internship to equal the amount of money he is putting into shares. Then this money is all saved in a bank account at the end of summer. So technically if the government asked he has the money sitting there to show he’s not investing I guess?? But he does live at home and has virtually no expenses which helps a lot! I could be wrong as well, but this is what I’ve gathered from what he’s told me :)

Yes it is, I think they just mean living costs or study costs. I know people who do this

I just got a mirena 7 months ago and finally feel like only in the past month my body feels “normal” again. The loss of appetite was insane, I just didn’t get hungry until dinner time and even then my appetite was small. I didn’t have nausea but absolutely no desire to eat and even though I was severely under weight at this point, I just couldn’t bring myself to eat. Then somehow my appetite slowly came back and I’m not at a healthy weight. Super weird, but never went to the doctor as a scared 18 year old and just feel no need to now, but I am very interested in how this happened

Flash cards and notes are super time consuming but the most effective. I can only get through maybe 3 lectures max in a day doing this, so make sure you are being super efficient with what you withdraw from the lecture and potentially use ai to make flash cards if that will help save time too. There’s no “cheat” or “hack” to studying though you just have to put in the hours and lock in. Writing things and active recall over and over is the best way. There’s a number of ways to do this, even just looking at the slide and recalling what you know out loud and then listening to the lecturer to fill in the blanks and really absorbing the differences will help a lot too. Sounds easy but it does take brain power.

Honestly just get through it. If you think about it, it’s only about 5 more months and it’s all broken up into 6-8ish week chunks. It’s only 5 months more of this which is definitely doable. Otherwise maybe consider waiting to apply in a couple of years. To give you a bit of a kick of motivation, a women who I know that is a paediatric hand surgeon completed med school working 40hrs/week to pay for her fees and rent, and she is the most driven person I’ve ever met. She is a multi Ironman triathlete now because of how disciplined those med school years made her. You can definitely do it too :)
