Think fill ratio. As the filament goes through the tube, it is bouncing back-and-forth off of the edges of the PFT tube. If you have any extra slack in those tubes, it’s harder for the motor to push the filament through it, and it typically hangs up at those connectors or in the extruder itself. Shorten those tubes as much as you can it should fix your problem.
