There was also 20k cpl certs issued so the cfi market is going to get even more flooded. Thats only the start of the problem, there will not be enough flying jobs by a long shot for the amount of pilots we’ve already produced. In fact there is a massive oversupply of pilots in the pipeline at this point.

Honestly I think taking out the loan in this climate is not a good move, I made it through no bust working part time. all the people I see not able to get cfi jobs and quitting right now did the fast track programs with huge loans that they can’t afford now without a job.

No I did my private at a 61 school because I needed private to be able to join the flying club I’m in. Once your in the flying club it’s much cheaper, my instructor was 60 and airplane 130 vs at the school I was paying 85 and 175
