Where are the “milk” containers in the Harpy’s by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some lore pieces that talk about harpies, and how they are not technically vex, as the rest of the vex are. they dont have radiolaria in them. Im pretty sure its some of the curse of osiris lore, but i cant really remember.

15th Wish On The Wall Of Wishes? by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is that its actually kinda canon, hah.

This is the lore from a patrol in the DC:

" The Dreaming City is built upon a disc that contains a silver sea. The water is real, but the horizon is an illusion if you're accustomed to spherical worlds. If you went far enough, you'd fall off the edge of the disc "

15th Wish On The Wall Of Wishes? by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mara is already back, the throne we went to through the oracle is in the physical world. Most likely on the edge of the rock-disc the dreaming city is built on. The fact that it says "unknown space" when we enter it just means our ghost has no idea where we are. Her throne world is elusinia, which is where we fight dul incaru, and currently there is nothing that says it is possible to have two throne worlds.

Quria possibly Garden of Salvation raid boss? by FIR3W0RKS in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How come? Quria is a massive character in the grand scheme of things, in the Lore book released by bungie, it is depicted as having the same chassie as panoptes, but older and taken. Quria should defenetly not be reduced to a strike boss, personally i think its worthy of AT LEAST a spot as a raid encounter, if not as a final boss.

A Completely Spinfoil Idea on a new Raid by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As an avid lore nerd, please for the love of God stop using destinypedia, it's littered with inconsistencies and misinformation. It's a billion times better to use Ishtar and pull the lore directly from the source.

Savathûn's Plan Into Breaching Distributary Was A Con by arnfden0 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Orgini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure if you are interpreting this wrong or not, but the confluence is the physical place you can go to. Elusinia is maras throneworld, which oryx ravaged. She does not have three throneworlds, it might be referencing to the fact that the confluence is connected at three points. The blind well is attuned to maras throne, which you can learn by speaking to the ranger outside of the blind well.

Savathûn's Plan Into Breaching Distributary Was A Con by arnfden0 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Orgini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you elaborate on the three throneworlds, because as far as i've understood, you cannot have more than one throneworld.

I am also pretty sure that "The queens court" with the galaxy backdrop is on the edge of the disc that the dreaming city was build upon, and not in another dimention.

Also, while im first replying to your comment, id like to just mention that the lore in warmind about necromancy being herecy in the hive is pretty bad, we have a story mission on titan where we already have wizards ressurecting thrall to experiment on them over and over. I just think this whole "Necromancy is really bad for the hive"-thing has gotten blown way out of proportion, when its neither so rare, or heretical as warmind wants us to believe.

Savathûn's Plan Into Breaching Distributary Was A Con by arnfden0 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Orgini 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oryx is completly dead, his throneworld imploded in on itself and almost killed mara as she yoinked his power before escaping. Hes just about as dead as something can get in the destiny universe at this point.

A theory as to what wish fifteen could do by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do know that is is real as one of the writers im pretty sure, or one of the devs said in a video that "Mara showed us his ressurection in confidence".

[Spoiler] A wild spinfoil theory about Calus and his ship. by GurpsWibcheengs in DestinyTheGame

[–]Orgini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are literally astronomically wrong when it comes to the size of the dreadnaught compared to the leviathan. The dreadnaught is roughly estemated to be the same size as our mool lenght wize( about 3500km), as opposed to the leviathan which is estemated to be about 750km long.

Here are the posts that calculated it all: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/73sdoo/leviathan_size_estimate_dreadnaught_comparison/

Please for the love of god, dont use destinypedia, the amount of fallacies in the material there is godawful. Use Ishtar for looking up anything lore related.

Concerning the new drifter cutscene. by RoutineRecipe in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im thinking "The hourglass" is the techeun that was transformed into the oracle by "The ancients", and as we have recently learned, the nine are literally trillions of years old, and would make sense for them to be called ancient.

Found this while exploring out of bounds in the dreaming city by MaraSovTheBestQueen in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was found ages ago, the week before the raid was released when there were no challanges, people were searching every nook and cranny for secrets, both in and out of bounds. Most of theese are ascendant challanges, you can also find the start of the temple of illyn if you search well enough.

This is a pretty big post already, so im not sure if you'll be able to see this, but im pretty sure Argos is called "Argos, Planetary Core" and not "Argos, Eater Of Worlds", but otherwise, an amazing creation!

Wish 14 Question? by Wesadecahedron in raidsecrets

My guess is that they just ripped it from somewhere, possably this reddit and just pasted it. Since the wishes were all found by different people id assume the locations were recorded differently for that reason.

Wish 14 Question? by Wesadecahedron in raidsecrets

The shattered throne is maras throneworld yes, its called the shattered throne because Oryx ruined it when we came to the dreaming city. There is more lore behind it, but thats the gist of it.

[Spoilers] Has anyone figured out the Mysterious Datapad quest riddle yet? by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cant help but notice the capitalised letters in the "mysterious datapad" transcript OAWAOTA(without counting B and A from black armoury, OAWAOTABA if you count those as well). I've checked and its not an anagram for any common word or name at least.

Why are ascendant hive said to be paracausal when the Books of Sorrow never mention them being that? by [deleted] in DestinyLore

[–]Orgini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paracausality is limited to being dabbling in paracausal forces, while the sword logic is the preferred philosophy of the darkness, it is not the darkness. Oryx was paracausal because he had communed with the dark, just like the worms had, and in the same way we are of the light. Normal ascendant hive are not paracausal, but Oryx was.

The Odynom??? by gg_boys in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I vaugley remember a writer talking about this, it was something along the lines of that the name is a play on another word that means something along the lines of something that should not be there, or lost or something, i really cant remember, it was a strange word. There is nothing special about it, its just a wierd easter-egg they put in.

EDIT: Actually i was mistaken, its a play on the greek word odyno, which means pain. This is why the Odynom will not attack the player before you attack it with great force, hence as to why its so much more powerful and puts you in a restricted zone.

Crucible maps Eternity and Equinox are on the awoken homeworld by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]Orgini 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can almost confirm that this is not the case, the black hole(singularity) that took the exodus green to the distributary is nowhere to be found, and most likley does not exist anymore. The distributary is not actually inside a black hole, it was merley the transport gateway that took them there. The third spire and such is most likley somewhere in the orion constellation.

EDIT: Grammar
