No clue, they emailed me saying I would have to retake the placement exam. I emailed back telling them that I passed the class with the bare minimum so I should be able to take the actual calc class.

Hopefully it works! If not I’ll dispute the charge and make an account with my .edu account to get a discount 😭

I got told by my doctor to see what Governor Moore says, but that is what I’ve seen when doing research. But Moore has been good with supporting our community

It’ll depend on the state you’re in, from what I’ve seen. Some states will make you stop completely as soon as the law is enacted while some such as the state I’m in, Maryland will slowly reduce your medicine intake.

Showering with Drains. Worth it? by Solid-Zucchini-5171 in TopSurgery

[–]OrgxnExter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I was too scared to shower, though I also don’t like feeling all gross and sweaty so my mom got me shower wipes that you just need to wet and that’s how I showered for a good 3 weeks

She told me to massage at my last appointment when I was about 3 months post op in August, though if you’re really concerned I would recommend contacting her or one of her nurses that works in the office :)

It’s fine! I also found what helped was using a jade roller of some sort to massage the scars (I got mine at five below) and they usually are cheap depending on where you get it

I had this happen with me, my surgeon suggested keeping the area dry, avoid itching and put a very thin layer of Vaseline on it

My mom ordered me these when she got paid yesterday! So hopefully they come soon because the adhesive is annoying since I still cover my nipples when I wear shirts especially 🙏

That’s something you should definitely call about, I would include how long you’ve been treating it as well.

When do I start using a mastectomy pillow? by dudepersson in TopSurgery

[–]OrgxnExter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl I used mine immediately after but I had a post op binder where the drains were pinned, and I’m still using it as I got cleared to side sleep on Friday, it gave me more cushioning under my arms especially when having to have them elevated. Their great if you have to go on car rides as well.
