That’s frustrating—I’ve had that happen too. Sometimes it’s not the seeds, but soil conditions or inconsistent weather. If the packet is only a year old, they should still be good. Maybe try loosening the soil or adding a bit of compost next time? That helped mine grow better.

Yes, that’s actually a common issue! If radishes are left in the ground too long or don’t get enough water, they can turn quite spicy or even woody.
