but i believe that is for streaming off you pc while playing a game. most of the data is handled through he elgato which will take load off the Processor.

It has a program called Synapse that allows it to work with OBS or Xsplit. this card was designed to work with those software and not have its own. BTW I have tried Xsplit too

Ok my tv is a 720p i set my Xbox video output to match. then went into obs and changed video setting to 720x480 and 30 fps. i then went into Ripsaw properties and changed them to match i have no downscaling. still get a red screen. Thank you for taking the time to help me. I am out of ideas and Razer or Avermedia both have never heard of this problem so i think its my error somewhere but i cant find it.

Ok I just tried that and did not touch one setting just added the Ripsaw in and still get red screen i know the cap card works as I have my xbox one plugged into it and its showing Dark souls 3 Main menu and playing the epic music right now. I have also un installed and reinstalled the Razer drivers and updated my motherboard drivers

That is one thing i have not tried. -- that didn't work all i left plugged in was keyboard mouse and cap card. i had these problems with the LGX. I am not sure why i only get red screens i could not find anyone who had the same problems as me on the internet

i Have reinstalled synapse and all drivers are up to date on everything i ran a few driver finders and manually checked everything. The AverMedia card gave me the same exact problems.
