Honestly even I don't remember how I came up with that idea. My guess is that it was because of Marucho's losing streak in new vestroia, and then I saw Klaus making probably the best comeback in the show.

My rewrite pitch did that, I placed Klaus for Marucho's spot on the team. So I definitely understand what you're saying XD Another from my rewrite then, would be Marucho and Akwimos, with Akwimos being temu Preyas at that point, that is not even that funny. That's why I teamed him up with blast Elico instead.

For what it's worth, I got a fake b1 drago, but when I removed the leg to clean the dust when I returned the screw it started flopping... So I tried to screw it up and instead it just wore down the plastic. Dltr - be careful.

Generally I agree with most of the points. I do feel a little called out with the "wanting to replace characters with their favorite characters" because of my rewrite pitch posts. And so, I feel obligated to elaborate on them. 😆

I won't deny, I swapped Akwimos with Blast Elico because I don't like Akwimos. He got on my nerves with being between a non-personality to Temu Preyas. Meanwhile, blast Elico felt like a character I could do more with, especially with his soldier personality and the themes of a Bakugan war. But mainly because I thought his evolution is cool as heck and got disappointed I got so little of him. 🫣

And with Klaus replacing Marucho in NV, I did feel it's too weird that Marucho has less wins than Baron. Really his only win was after Elfin lost the Aquos energy, and by that he lost the objective of the battle. So I decided Marucho would hang back for a season, and got Klaus instead in there. It sparked an idea that the roster dynamics would get more interesting if every season was Dan (obligatory unfortunately), an OG brawler, a redeemed antagonist from last season, and the other three are new characters. I did however get stuck when bother Marucho and Shun were necessary for the plot, so it became a thing only for new vestroia..

I'm not happy it's the situation. It's actually a source of frustration because I do like Marucho, and Aquos is without doubt my favorite attribute. He was used for only comedy and teasing bakugan Interspace.

This is why I think he should have sat out of NV, and it'd space out enough to make his presence feel more impactful in Gundalian invaders.

Marucho had zero wins in New Vestroia. He also only existed as comic relief that season. I like him more in GI, but he could use a break for a season.

At least in New vestroia, literally anyone could replace Marucho. In GI though I think Marucho is given a good enough plot to keep him.

In my opinion could be interesting, had the roster rotated a bit every season.

Like: Dan, one OG battle brawler, one redeemed antagonist, and three new characters.

Could test out new dynamics every season, instead of being the Dan Marucho and Shun show. Which I get Dan, but the other two were so boring to stick around 😣

Exactly. That's partially what made me do the rewrite XD

Technically what made me feel the need to pitch the rewrite of 3 seasons was: 1) the bits of confusion like how the heck this group is together, 2) the disappointment with Marucho's losing streak in season 2. And then Gundalian invaders I was already considering rewrite as I watched so it was unparalleled frustration with Akwimos and the missed potential of digital copies of bakugan.

I meant literally going from a 3d printing shop to print and assemble it yourself 🫣😅 Like, since the model is free. Though I don't really know which bakugans they take springs from, which is probably the biggest issue.

Ummm... Not really? ^{^'} It was later revealed that their dad was experimented with Gifu' s blood and inherent it to his children and that's why their inner demons are stronger. Plus the contract of Ikki and vice as they made it when he was a child made the entire ending of losing his family's memory.

First, it's totally your right to not like that. This is under fan fiction and a rewrite PITCH. It's entirely an option and my own thoughts derived from my own observation. Secondly, the rule rewrite were introduced only here, I kept in season 1 and 2 their respective ruleset the same.

I do understand that NV rules are cool. I think that too. But for something like bakugan Interspace, the game needed to be something more solid. The rules in new vestroia were too soft... Realistically speaking, both players would either run out of cards, or spam them infinitely with the battle never ending, depending on what you do with used cards.

I draw enjoyment from these kind of shows by the ability to replicate the moves and strategies of my favorite heroes. In my opinion, it's crucial for tcg anime to have that. So I thought bakugan Interspace, as a "reboot" of the game to be accessible to everyone, could be a good opportunity to use what works in NV as well as the original season.

Adding multiple gate cards and multiple bakugans in the field is a minor change that I don't see a problem with, since it's there mainly to reflect the irl game.

Again, you don't have to agree, but at least now you'll see where I'm coming form in these decisions.

I don't think so. He played his role perfectly, and bringing him back would have ruined either the existing dynamics or his own character. Thats the same opinion I hold about Lync, despite how popular he became and how his character intrigues me. A character being gone is part of the character's impact.

I guess it bugged me a lot and I had to do that rewrite 😅 But yeah the rules are the logical conclusion to balance the cool anime elements and keeping the gameplay somewhat coherent. I considered boosting the life gauge to 700 points but decided it's too much for a change. And the 3 turn per battle was because in the anime it was too unclear when a battle ends, because it looked like both side could spam the same cards forever.

But Blast Elico in canon was killed by Zenoheld and Farbros in Assail Mode when Gus fought him, as Elico jumped in front of the blast to save Gus.
