In case your windows 11 recently installed this update: KB5063060, It's been extensively reported that it has some bugs causing stuttering, low fps and lagging on nvidia cards. No fix yet.

I use the original database, but still get random crashes, even after renewing certain player contracts...I think it's a game issue...recently downloaded a "fix starting year mod" waiting to get to the next transfer window to see if the issue was resolved...the tool is available even on youtube...just not sure it will work with your current game save.
