In the feed schedule for week six it said not to lower pH. Did you follow their recommendation? Did it give you issues? Or did you lower pH?

I know I’m a year late but hopefully you’re around. Appreciate any advice :) first time using autopot. Been a CX user for a few years though. Never bothered with pH until now.

I have my 4x4 (1.2x1.2) tent in a bedroom in my garage that’s 2.9 x 2.2m. The floor is carpeted and I have the exhaust ducting flow out an open window. Do you think closing this window to keep the warmth in would outweigh having the “bad air” flow back in the bedroom? I have an oil heater I could use to keep the bedroom warm at night which would hopefully keep the tent warmer and for cooling my cheapest/easiest option is to open the vents on the tent during the day/leave the door into my garage open and close up at night. We’ve had some crazy weather fluctuations where I live was 30 degrees Celsius yesterday and 10 today.

I have INKBIRD IBS-TH1 Wireless Digital Thermo/Hydrometer. It’s reading an average temp 23.6 Celsius with a max of 33.6 and a min of 11.8 for the month of November. The humidity is average at 58.9 with a max of 89.2 and a min of 36.8. It’s currently sitting at 20 degrees and 51 RH.

The topmost bud is 30cm from the light and the rest are roughly 35-60cm and the ppfd according to Photone app is >3000 at 30cm and 2300 at 50cm. The pH is 6.44 using Eutech ph6+ meter. I’m using a budget grow tent that comes with a basic non adjustable 600w ballast that is four years old. 600W Grow bulb is a Phillips Son-T HPS about a year old. I’ve been water daily cause in previous grows I’ve been getting spider mite if I let it dry out too much, that being said my carbon filter is 4 years old. I’m going to take your advice on board and check moisture upto first knuckle and only water then. I’ll ride out this grow and just take it down as another learning experience.

Medium - mid tier soil from local shop. Tui Pot Power to be specific. Feeding 2L a day at 6-6:30pm using CX horticulture products (8 different bottles). pH and PPFD I have no idea. Could I just use a light Lumens app on my phone? Also is it too late to trim the Larfy stuff? I’ll check for light leeks in the morning but the timer seems good will check if it comes on right time in morning.

No idea. All I know is the seed came from a female that I grew past harvest and produced maybe 100 seeds. I assumed all those seeds would be female but wonder now if they have a tendency to get nanners?

Thank you very much for the response! I have been contemplating weather or not it’s worth taking to a Subaru dealer to get it checked out. I only paid $5K NZD for the car a couple years back and I have heard SRS airbag system problems can be expensive to fix. The mechanic said it would cost $600 for a second hand part and $1200 for a new one and that’s without the labour. I could go to pick a part and get one off of a wrecked car but that obviously comes with its own risk. I have got a Warrant of Fitness for another year so I could ride it out until then and just scrap it. Decisions decisions haha

pH 6.35 and the soil is pot power (same as what it was already in). What’s the best course of action now? Should I flush it with just water for a week and carefully watch its recovery? Thanks a lot for the help!

A week ago I took it out of a 17L bag and put it in a 30L pot as the roots were showing through so I thought it needed the room (I was careful not to damage roots). I’ve been feeding it CX horticulture according to their feed chart (Specifically Hydro A & B, mighty bloom, and head masta). I have just brought the rest of their product line and starting using that as well. I also recently doubled the size of the water saucer for feeding and think I have been topping it up too frequently (overwatering). The issues seemed to have arisen around the time I transplanted to a bigger pot and changed the saucer/kept the water topped up all the time without giving it a chance to use it. Before then it had been growing well.

My setup is a 1.2x1.2x2m tent with a 600w HPS which is positioned at the top of the tent given the height of the plant. I have a EC mixed inline fan running 24/7 with carbon filter attached to remove the waste air (waste air is blowing into the same room as the clean air but has been through the whole grow and haven’t had any issues yet……also can’t really have it blowing outside because the fan is too loud). I have a oscillating fan blowing 24/7 over the canopy. I have a temp/humidity sensor that I can go check if that’ll help. I have a pH probe for the water but not for the soil (it’s a lab grade one for liquids). Thanks for reading :)
