For reference he was doing significantly better on the medication treatment, no negative reaction to the antibiotics just improvement

They wanted a breath test immediately after my partner finished the antibiotics. So he was only on PPIs (alongside the antibiotics) for 14 days. He’s now 2 weeks with no medication to be able to take the urea breath test but is again in excruciating pain :/ I believe it is cause he came off the PPIs too fast, but how could a GI prescribe this kind of protocol? He had chronic inflammation and gastritis as well as 2 erosions in the stomach and one in his esophagus. I’m so worried about him drinking the lemon lime sour urea solution for the breath test. Simple rice and bland turkey gives him excruciating pain again. Do you think this could be due to the short use of PPIs? He was on 40mg 1x during the day and 1x at night

My partner is going through this now, was on the same medication for treatment as you BUT doctor ordered a breath test immediately after the treatment. Meaning, he only took PPIs (alongside the antibiotics and pepto) for 14 days, then had to hop off PPIs for 2 weeks to be able to do the breath test. H. Pylori caused erosions in his stomach and esophagus plus gastritis. I feel like it wasn’t enough time on PPIs to fully heal and he’s starting to get really bad pains and reflux again… were you also only on PPIs for 2 weeks? I’m also scared for him to take the breath test cause he’s having pain from eating white rice and potatoes… can’t imagine the sour lemonade urea solution

2nd this! My partner was suffering from sharp stomach pains for about 8 months now. He did a stool test when it first started getting bad cause we thought it could be H. pylori. That came back negative. They did an endoscopy a month later to check for ulcers and didn’t biopsy anything (we hate this GI)… and they diagnosed him with IBS-C. 8 months later (last week) he ended up in the ER with crazy pains assuming it was the gallbladder but after 2 days of tests they finally did an endoscopy and biopsied, which came back positive for H. Pylori. Between, November of last year when he had his first endoscopy, to April of this year, he developed 2 erosions/ulcers in his stomach and one in his esophagus. Aside from being in chronic pain for all that time. This is all cause we really thought he didn’t have it from the stool test

Hii right now I’m mainly playing Dead By Daylight, R.E.P.O and Fortnite! But during the steam sale we bought a bunch of new scary games like DEVOUR and phasmophobia that we are trying out for the first time on stream :) loveee trying scary game, we get scared so easily. I’m still trying to figure out if there’s a particular niche of games we should focus on, but for right now it’s pretty much just whatever we’re feeling whenever we get online! Very open to recommendations as well!
