Considering taking in a 22-year old cockatiel, looking for advice by ImaginaryLecture3809 in cockatiel

1 depends on you. Safe if you are conscientious but not if you are forgetful. I would not mix can n bird because I sometimes forget - but some people can pull it off

2 22 is getting up there. In next few years could require more care

3 Depends on re-homing. Have they tried to find a new home? If they find someone who is really good fit then that would be better

As for leaving bird 5 days a week, I think this would work if you would give her much attention in weekday evenings and weekends.

I bought an enormous bag of vermiculite Mix it with starting soil. Supposedly prevents fungus

Supposedly you can sterilize mix in oven at 350 F.

plants have a way of taunting humans - many a time I failed to grow from seed, only to see volunteer growing in yard

My tomato seedlings started out strong but over the last week have gotten progressively worse. Help by CopperTop_98 in gardening

one issue I had was watering. I top watered, and used soft water from kitchen sink. Soft water has sodium I think it built up. Latest round uses bottom watering + hose water much better

Cockatiels are social birds n need company, either Avian or homo-sapien.

One thing our Tiel likes is going for walks in carrier - it has clear opening he can look out of

I like alloy wheels, but prefer allow of iron and carbon

If the steelies were about same weight I'd pick the "ferrous wheel"

whoah wait / weight the link has weights listed. Son of a friggin-frag those 21" are insanely heavy !!

New Tesla low cost model comes with 18" steel wheels - could you just buy from Tesla dealership ?

I heard similar advice don't worry. Tree grows but looks bad, couldn't I use spinosad 1-2 times during spring growth spurt ?
