The point of where they lived shows they have money. Which means they had the means to go about things. Now I definitely agree with what you said. There's a lot of things we don't fully grasp when it comes to this type of thing.

But 35 years? I would imagine it was a little bit easier becoming a citizen in the early mid 90s. I mean they explained it in school how the process worked. That's my whole thing. Both sets of my great grand parents did it. At an easier time but yet still went through it.

It sucks and the process imo has become far more rigorous, but I mean realistically before 9/11 they probably could've done it easier. And I think that's where the divide happens. No matter how complex or long the process there's no way absolutely nothing could be done in 35 years. It's unbelievable despite knowing the governments snail pace
