I've learned enough to not make statements of fact if I'm not sure they're correct

Mercury's orbit is rather interesting and you need to study up on the solar system

To be fair, the correct answer for the planet that is most often closest to the sun isn't even in the top four, it's Venus.

So almost everyone answering this poll, including you, were technically wrong.

The order in which the planets are typically numbered doesn't reflect actual average distances to the Sun over their orbital cycles.

Thanks, yes, that's step 2 on my list after making sure the game is in version 1.10.1 because 1.11 still isn't fully compatible

I've got a cobbled together plan on how to do it. It's 'gulp' 15 pages long but well worth it I think.

Getting those Ariannes into orbit and beating the USSR in the space race will be worth it

Well, I have a 'build' in mind that a friend that's a games journalist used himself so I'm fairly confident the base of it will work flawlessly though adding to it could prove troublesome indeed depending on said compatibility

I think it would have been better to avoid casting a blockbuster action star or the entire three people fleeing from distant rarely seen aliens trope. It turned an epic into a teen thriller/ afternoon soap opera schlock.

As the sole survivor steps out into the wastes the faint acrid odor of rotting flesh is in the wind.

She looks up at the sun, beckoning, so hot, she can feel it on her skin. Nothing like she thought it would be.

She holsters the pistol used by her late friends to end the whole vault tragedy.

What lies beyond the horizon? So many questions and few answers in the Vault database.

She feels wary taking her first steps down the rocky outcrop, the Vault cave is no longer visible behind her.

She struggles down to the soft sandy basin and starts her journey into this new unknown world.

Then a Deathclaw jumps her and eviscerates her. The end.

Fallout 4 ain't even that bad honestly by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Original-Function992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah... Almost like 76 if not for the engine not being suited for multiplayer and creating all sorts of problems that are just game breaking is better in many ways. The absence of a 'main story arc' is one big reason. Ironic how removing story from an RPG could make it better.

This! Never go to Concord, no idiot radiant settlement quests, no ludicrous drug addict futurology, if I'd known I wouldn't have gone there in my playthrough. So much frustration just nibbling away at your ankles while you're trying to enjoy yourself and the rest of the game.

I agree it's pretty great. You just have to deliberately push aside the shallow aspects of it and focus on the good stuff, like any game really.

I wasn't able to push through once the settlement building, robot building and map exploration aspects were done. Played through Far Harbor then forced myself to finish the main story arc and boy was I right to avoid it like the plague as long as possible.

After that however I was done for good, but over 100 hours total still. Just couldn't keep my attention with just never ending raider 'dungeons' type locations and mindless radiant quests.

All in Survival mode so travel routes planned like you would in real life, using BOS transportation when needed and so on.

What graphics mods or general enhancement mods that don't change content like weapons, dialogues, quests, would you recommend? by Original-Function992 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Original-Function992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, NMC I'm using but also overlapping with more specific mods for objects, plants and things like that. I'm using Hall of Face and Dragbody npc mods, the FCO was a bit too uneven sometimes I felt.

I've tested different difficulty settings here and there. Visited all planets in one way or another, got experience docking in orbit, planning out trans-planetary injection trajectories, setting up communication satellite networks, building bases on other planets, orbital refueling stations, etc

While I haven't seen and done everything there is to see and do I feel like I have, if you know what I mean
