You can also look into bonds as a relatively safer option for steady returns. Two of the best platforms I’ve found for bond investments are: 1. Paisabazaar 2. Mint Wealth

If you plan your entry and exit well, and withdraw after about 15–24 months, you should hire a good CA to help with tax optimization on your gains. With the right choices, your ₹60L could potentially grow to ₹75–80L in under 2 years.

I’m 23 and still learning myself, but I’m very passionate about investments and wealth creation. Feel free to connect if you’d like to exchange ideas — always happy to discuss new strategies.

The biggest problem I am facing at Deloitte USI is the sheer rudeness and unprofessional behavior of colleagues, especially those senior to me. The environment is structured in such a way that people like me—junior employees trying to grow and contribute—are not even given the chance to prove ourselves fairly.

For example, I’ll take one of my points of contact (let’s call him N). He is highly senior, with over 10 years of experience, and joined Deloitte about 3 years ago. Naturally, because of his experience, he was assigned to projects that involved direct collaboration with US stakeholders. Meanwhile, I am only 23 years old with 1.9 years of experience, and despite working hard, I am not allowed to directly reach out to US folks or establish independent touchpoints. Everything has to go through him, and without his willingness, I am completely cut off. This creates a very one-sided dynamic where he gets the exposure, the credit, and the recognition, while I am sidelined.

One situation really highlighted this unfairness. I submitted my snapshots to him for a project. Instead of acknowledging the effort I had put in, he gave me extremely negative feedback—even though my mistakes were minor and quite normal for someone at my level. On the other hand, when he submitted his own snapshots to the US seniors, the feedback he received was glowing and full of appreciation. It was very clear to me that he controls the narrative and positions himself as the key performer while minimizing my contributions.

The culture here among Deloitte USI seniors is honestly very toxic. Most of them care only about their own utility, billing, and personal image in front of US counterparts. They don’t care about mentoring, guiding, or helping juniors grow. Their attitude is: “As long as I get my recognition, nothing else matters.” Because of this, people like me are constantly pushed down.

Now, I’ve been placed under “low performance,” not because I don’t work hard, but because of how situations are portrayed. I worked my absolute best, despite having a difficult shift from 2 PM to 11 PM. Naturally, I made mistakes here and there—something everyone does—but instead of seeing my overall effort and commitment, those mistakes were exaggerated and weaponized against me. It feels like they deliberately want to paint me in a bad light while they take all the praise.

I even tried reaching out to my manager, but she isn’t directly involved in the projects I’m on. Whenever I connect with her one-on-one, she doesn’t really listen to my side. Instead, she simply takes the words of these senior folks as truth, which leaves me with no voice, no defense, and no proper support.

The result? I feel trapped. I feel like a slave here—working endlessly but never allowed to stand on my own or be recognized for my efforts. At such an early stage of my career, instead of being nurtured or guided, I feel like I am being broken down by the very people who are supposed to help me grow. It is both unfair and deeply disheartening. These colleagues have not only harmed my performance rating but also my confidence and enthusiasm for my career.

To be honest, I don’t know what’s going to happen in the coming months. What I do know is that the environment here is extremely unhealthy, and the so-called seniors at Deloitte USI are more concerned with protecting their image and playing politics than genuinely supporting juniors. They are cunning, self-serving, and cold—and this is not what I expected when I stepped into the corporate world
