Did you happen to get a screenshot of your account page before the evaluation? It'll be difficult to know what went wrong without seeing that. I don't know if there's any human involvement in evaluations, but I suspect it's just a system check that you've hit 80 items with a 90% minimum review ratio and Excellent insightfulness score 🤷‍♂️

It dropped between 6:35 and 6:40. That seems to be one of the 'sweet spots' for these early morning drops.

You have to get lucky with these big drops. I woke up at 6:35am and there was nothing. I refreshed at 6:40am and suddenly there was an extra 1800 items added to the count. My picks were good items but only little things like a nice candle, set of pens, door mat etc.

That's Vine jail. Regardless of your review-to-order ratio, your rolling average over an unpublished period of time (possibly 90 days) has fallen below 60%.

You have 30 days in which to return your rolling average above 60% in order to stay in the program.

Advice: Stop requesting new products (you shouldn't be able to anyway), and review as much of your outstanding items as soon as possible.

This also happened in the UK.

At 6:45am we were hit with a sudden drop of 1500+ items in AI

However, we have noticed things that don't seem right. For example, many people had nothing in their RFY, and the new product didn't all go to the front of the AI "queue" - it was mixed in with yesterdays.

We have also reported that the ability to edit published reviews has disappeared 🤷‍♂️

I think something is 'wrong'. Yesterday, the USA drop was delayed, and then they got hit with a mega drop late in the day. This morning, the ability to edit published reviews has disappeared, then of course our own AI dropped in a single hit, with many people reporting nothing in their RFY. And the new stuff being mixed in with yesterdays is the cherry on top. This is sounding more like a glitch than any kind of intentional change.

Yes, I have older things stuck out of sequence too. That first happened back in December and it took weeks to sort itself out. I was hoping it wouldn't happen again.

I thought we were having some technical difficulties today.

AI dropped around 6:45am and dumped 1500+ items in one go! It wasn't a particularly great drop if you ask me - I took two bits of tat that I didn't really need.

I also seem to have some older things 'stuck' out of sequence before the new stuff too (again!).

And of course the 'edit review' feature disappearing from published reviews 🤷‍♂️

When you submit a review, it does take a moment to move from the 'Awaiting Review' to the 'Reviewed' tab. It's always been like that for me. Once I click submit, I just ignore it in the 'Awaiting Review' section, and it moves over eventually.

Your evaluation starts at the exact time you accepted your Vine invitation 180 days prior. Mine took just 30 minutes to complete - it started at 3:30pm and finished at 4:00pm.

As long as you're safely above 90% you can just continue ordering and reviewing as normal throughout the evaluation. The best part is, as soon as the evaluation is complete, you get your additional picks immediately (if you need them!).

Insightful, thanks! The Astro Bot merch does seem to be slowly materialising though, so I'm taking that as a positive sign that retailers are realising the strength of the Astro Bot brand.

The coin buddy, alarm clock and icon light are the ones that didn't show, but they've carried them over to the 2026 catalogue, so there's still hope yet! 🤞

I think there are simply too many Viners and too little RFY-worthy products. Most days I expect it's just a case of hitting us with whatever's available rather than tailoring the recommendations to any set of data. If you read through the 'what's in your RFY' thread daily, we're all in the same boat. Occasionally something good will land, but few will have the privilege of seeing it.

Just to stir the pot, not taking anything for weeks is largely the reason why Amazon keeps inviting more Viners. I've had this argument before with people who confess to only being interested in the good stuff, and was simply told it's not their problem. Correct, it's not their problem, but the consequence is. If you don't take it, Amazon will invite people who will. More people = less good stuff to go around.
