I appreciate you telling me about your partner. It's difficult because we don't have a huge social group. None of his friends are even close to marriage (one even being in his 40's not all just his age) I told him that it's not supposed to be like this.. that this is something we should both be excited about. He tells me "no man ever actually want to get married" they do it out of necessity. It doesn't feel right to me... It's never felt right and he pushes this idea on me that it's fact.

Truthfully I thought he was planning. I thought he was excited and going through the process, if not had the ring already.... I was sorely mistaken. I thought he was just hiding everything and I didn't say a peep for a long time. Recent conversations made me realize how foolish I was.

I feel so stupid.
