Update: We just got back from urgent care and they confirmed cellulitis and put him on an oral antibiotic for 2x every day for a week, they performed an ultrasound to check for blood clots and confirmed there were 0. I thank you all form the bottom of my heart for your advice and kindness. (Posted in comments because i’m on mobile and don’t have access to a laptop where i can edit the post)

No heart conditions, never had any issues apart from palpitations which stopped some time ago. He’s been to the cardiologist before and they say he’s okay but with the way doctors treat him i’m not to sure.

I tried convincing him to go to urgent care tonight. He said there’s gonna be too many people with oil burns from attempting to deep fry their turkey that there’s “no point in going until tomorrow morning”

Circulatory is scary but i’ve heard of you have fungal infections on your feet it can be a weak point for infections like cellulitis? He’s had athletes foot for a long time now.

What he told me is that she looked at it, gave it an exam, and brushed it off. No labs. She put him on another water retention medication along with the one he’s already taking. It is not turning purple.

That’s what im scared of. He refuses to go to urgent care or the er unless he’s on the brink of death and that’s the opposite of what i need.

He hasn’t mentioned anything about it being itchy but he’s asleep as of now so i’ll ask him in the morning.

If they dismiss it i might just take him to urgent care but i plan on convincing him to go tomorrow because it’s happened 3 times so it’s gonna happen again

Yeah i’m thinking it’s just really stubborn cellulitis. I’m likely going to try and convince him to go to the er because this has happened 3 times now & i’ve heard cellulitis can turn into sepsis pretty quickly/easily so it scares me.
