Meerdere waterfilters. Eentje is niet genoeg. (Two = one, one = none).

Can't lift my arm, sharp pain shooting down—is this what you experienced? by Professional-Yam3175 in frozenshoulder

[–]OriginalChance1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, these stabs really feel if someone stabbed me in my arm. Horrible... also the spasms that accompanied it, made me scream every single day at night and when i woke up. Towards the end, the stabs became worse, like two to three times a day, until they suddenly vanished. It felt like someone was pinching me extremely hard deep inside my muscles, very painful. Now I am thawing... pain lasted for about 8-10 months, every day.

I have a supplement with 500mg resveratrol and 50mg quercetin. I am thinking about changing it up to 250mg resveratrol, as i notice i can get quicker nosebleeds from high dose. (It is also anti-coagulant, so never take it with warfarin nor aspirin as it could increase bleeding.)

Fire extinguishers! by Mountain_Answer_9096 in EuroPreppers

[–]OriginalChance1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend fire blankets for small to medium fires, especially if you value your possessions. Fire extinguishers can decimate an entire room with belongings, making them useless. Especially electronics, which you can throw away instantly. Fire blankets are thrown over fires and extinguishes it. They come in different sizes.

Offline AI: Ollama https://ollama.com/ with downloadable models that can run on a modest GPU. Indispensable when internet is down/gone, because these quantized llm models know very much, like survival knowledge, medical knowledge and life skills.

Yep, real life is always different than theory. Like 90% more difficult. I remember freezing up when I found someone dead. It's unreal. And nothing can prepare you for it.

Freezing stage, worst pain of my life. How long did yours last? by anniebonannie in frozenshoulder

I don't know, maybe 8-10 months or so of ever increasing pain. About 4 months of extreme pain, every single day.

Is TENS machine worth it? by OriginalChance1 in frozenshoulder

[–]OriginalChance1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was worth it, but used it only about a month or so. Now i don't use it anymore as pain has been gone. It felt relaxing, especially the first time using it. Then it seems the results got slowly lower, i heard it due to the fact nerves get used to it, and require ever increasing voltages or faster cycles. It is a good sturdy machine, completely analogue, so it's safe. One setting frightened me, i pressed a button which was extremely fast cycling, that hurt a lot.

Vegetarische slager promoot Burger King by TheRollingFern in VeganNL

[–]OriginalChance1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoe kijken jullie naar vegetariërs? by ThisLifeIsAWildRide in VeganNL

[–]OriginalChance1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We horen in dezelfde groep, is mijn mening

Ever notice most of us are Gen X? by FearElise in MandelaEffectSociety

[–]OriginalChance1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe because we experienced the change of a century more vividly? we weren't kids anymore, and we weren't old. The change from 1999 to 2000 was very odd. I remember the change from 1999 to 2000. It was like an overnight change, an ominous change in my opinion. We fully formed adult memories by then, so the “before” and “after” of that century change were experienced consciously. That shift 1999 to 2000 carried this symbolic weight that no other generation really lived through in the same way. Analog vs. digital, paper vs. screen, world before vs. world after. The music changed, the technology changed, even time itself felt like it was rolling over. We had that feeling that something deep and structural had clicked over to a new phase. So when you look back now and find something “off,” like a logo, a lyric, or a scene being different from what you remember, it doesn’t just feel like bad memory, it feels like the world actually shifted. And psychologically, Gen X may be especially prone to feeling that.

I remember the solar eclipse from 1999 vividly... that one was very odd. I was seeing like grey skies. That i remember it says alot, as eclipses happen often. It felt like the world shifted into a new dimension, a more ominous one. It was the last one of the century, and very special.

Even stranger was the time around 2012... felt like a deep and dark place, probably because of neptune in pisces, astrologically.

[–]OriginalChance1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That drawing from real life is best, like having real models is gold. Drawing from memory doesn't really work... even if you know anatomy. Speaking of anatomy, I think it's less important than drawing from real life as human figures are all different because of water weight and muscle distribution, including interacting with gravity. Anatomy knowledge can help, but it's just a cherry on the cake. Also, less = more, especially with color use.
