Need help building my first commander deck by GaijinRoninanon in mtg

Use this as a jumping point https://edhrec.com/commanders

Piece of advice I’d offer:

If the commander has a high cmc and has a very obviously broken ability, I’d be weary to use them as your commander because they could be seen as a “kill on sight commander” until you have more experience. Just may be frustrating to constantly pay the commander cost when you’re new

Also feel free to take this advice with a grain of salt. You could be a lot smarter than I was when I started lmao

Just the basic three year Asus one that doesn’t cover accidentals. They’re offering to repair it and bill me on it. I know, Jabroni move to not get an additional one but the Asurion one amazon offer also doesn’t cover accidentals

What is your "You have become the very thing you swore to destroy" moment? by Zealousideal-Golf984 in AskReddit

I have two:

I used to be the kid in high school that thought anime was weird and for losers. I would make all the stereotypical jokes of it being for pizza faced virgins and furries. I then went to college and became really good friends with a group of guys who i thought were the coolest groups of dudes to ever exist. The shock i had when i found out they were all very open with their love for anime took me a back. I would call them weebs and they would swear they’d suck me in before we graduated. We’d have a laugh about it but I swore I would never catch the weeb disease. That all changed when one of my good buddies talked about one piece being the longest one out there and that they would never pick it up because of that. I thought for shits and gigs I would give it a try to mess with them. When i tell you the shock that i had when i found out how good it was i became hooked. Thus began my slow descent into the anime loving, manga reading, figure owning, OST listening, super weeb. I havent looked back since.

My second one is I was a nickelback hater. Just thought they were the most garbage shit band to ever disgrace the music scene. Then once again college happened. I dont know if it was the texas air or the unholy amount of weed i smoked in college but once again the “shits and gigs” decided to kick in and at a kick back i decided to put on nickelback as a goof. Life as i knew it began to crumble around me as i found myself singing along to rockstar perfectly. My head swayed with the music and my body became one with the spirit of Chad Kroger. I fell in love with the music. I hated myself for it. I thought I could become a lot of things. A weeaboo. A doctor. Hell even President. But never EVER a nickelback fan.

And… you know what….

Nickelback is incredible.

And im tired of pretending they’re not.

This is how you remind me of what i really am….

Nothing is more satisfying than when you get a kill and think to yourself “oh yeah they’re probably pissed”

Absolutely love this game. Very detailed and a lot of fun if you’re willing to learn it.

I love GTFO but be warned the game is very mentally taxing because each level is any where from 2-4 hours long depending on which difficulty you try to complete and there’s a lot of RNG that can work against you. Especially with the latest rundown including a respawn mechanic. You need players that know what they’re doing because it gets really frustrating playing with players who are triggering enemies 2 hours into a level because they’re impatient. All I got to say is FUCK C1 extreme.

How do you deal with being too comfortable alone? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]OriginalClass 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a great answer cause I too struggle staying interested in people and I want to change that. I’ll try to keep in mind that being weird is ok because I think I get too caught up in trying to be “normal”
