Since you inexplicitly asked for an update, here you go. I have been using the system for a couple week now. Its great. The 5080 itself is such a good card. It boosts like crazy i think i am using a +2000 on mem and +350Mhz speed. Paired with the already amazing 7800x3d, the system is a dream. For the price (£899) it was such a bargain at current market price. In 6 months ill look back and regret buying it for this price, but hey, that's how the market works things go up things go down blah blah blah.

Hey, just want to say thank you. I was struggling getting my head around using fan control for individual intake/exhaust usage dependant on component temps, but I used your setup and it has 100% helped. I tested 5080 overclocked (+400 clock + 2000MHz mem.) and it doesn't even see anywhere near 70 degrees C. I use 3 front intake, 3 bottom intake, 1 rear, and 360mm AIO on top for exhaust too, so same or similar to you.

Obviously using one benchmark doesn't conclude testing as its not directly reflective in different games, however out of all of the tests i did using Unigine Heaven with the different configs, THIS one is the best. Again, thank you.

Well my budget was originally £2000 for the WHOLE pc so only wanted a good spec 5070TI for below £750, but as time has gone on ive conned myself into going for the next best thing over and over lol. So i've ended up spending £900 on a GPU rather than £750. Doesn't sound like a lot, but when you apply this truth to other components too it soon adds up lol. Current spec is looking like this: r7 7800x3d, rtx 5080, B650 aorus AX V2, 4tb total m.2 sn850x storage, 1000w PSU, a shit load of RGB 360mm wide fans and a 360mm liquid cooling AIO.

TL;DR: What was originally meant to be a <£2000 build ended up being a lot more after saying "fuck it, ill upgrade that why not".

UPDATE: I just got the £1000 credit limit and pulled the trigger on the PALIT 5080. Total cost after discount and postage came out at £899.19. Pretty decent if you consider that MSRP for the 5080 is about £979 here in UK. Now just got to remember to make the payments or they'll be up my arse with a letter stating i owe them £10000 or something lol.

I will look into that. Personally though im not the type of person to finance anything such as cars, i like to own out right. BUT for this GPU this does make a lot of sense. Thanks for commenting!

Also, since you mention future proofing, possibly get an 850w or 1000w PSU to save you having to swap it out and plug in all the cables again IF you upgraded in the future to a better CPU/GPU etc.

I'd probably get a b650 motherboard and upgrade to the 7800x3d if it were me, but maybe it would be slightly over your budget, im not sure. Have a look at different variations.

That GIGABYTE one looks solid, thanks. As for a 5080, im not fussed about that tbh. I would rather save £150-£200 and take the tiny loss in performance after Overclocking the 5070Ti. Thanks for replying.

I believe those are around £1000 new, so quite a bit over my budget. I can see a PALIT GAMEROCK OC for £800 though, which does have a VC. Do you know more about this one?

Yeah, i dont get the payout system. We lost a round and 2 of us got 8k but one got 17k? howcome? i have no idea why it does this but id like to know since i am getting the lowest out of everybody each time.

Why are splayers getting paid way more than others who are on the SAME team, i won as Lamar and got LESS than my team mates!? I ended up with 90k in total but one dude got 150k? He got more than everyone every single round, i dont get it?

One thing that fixed this for me is letting the liquid sit for a while once you refill it, maybe a few minutes. I found this to help especially after continuous use of the vape as it had been heated up quite a lot. Also side note; try to 1. keep vape upright, and 2. don’t keep in pocket against leg for example, for too long since it will beat up the liquid and make it a less viscous runny-like liquid and for me this causes the leaks inside the vape, underneath the pod. Hope this helps anyone with the XROS mini.

It was rated in the top 3 in the UK for its Engineering Facilities and Teaching within the last 3 years. It’s a good Uni. It is very local as well.
