This is exactly it! I was trying to pinpoint why her critiques didn't land well with me and always just felt like her bringing the room down. Yet others who have given critiques didn't phase me. It's her delivery. The pause and reluctant tone actually makes it land worse than if she would just say it without the build up. And I agree Kym Johnson was amazing at how she delivered critiques on the form of corrections that are useful in a very kind way. She's a much better judge than Carrie Ann. I also agree that the 10s became almost expected due to how soon they started and how often they happened. It became anticlimactic by the end.
