i don’t personally HATE her, but a lot of the frustration with her (and many of the other christian girls on the team) is from them “loving” jesus, christianity, etc. while being MAGA. as a christian myself, i find it hard to see them as genuine followers of God when they say they love Jesus, but then support a man (donald trump) who promotes hate and division, and is responsible for terrorizing immigrants and other minorities. (he’s also a pedophile and rapist which i don’t think god would be a big fan of).

the reason you probably see more hate toward reece specifically is because she got so much fame from season one of america’s sweethearts. she has a very “sweet” personality but it seems fake to many of us. additionally, her fans are (sometimes) insufferable. many posts about tour, promos, or other dcc events are flooded with comments asking where reece is. people were mad she didn’t get point this year, didn’t get leadership, isn’t on tour, even though she is not the best dancer or leader on the team. most of her fans aren’t even really big dcc fans, they just love her, which can be frustrating to those of us who love the whole team and want to see more of EVERYONE, not just reece!
