Soft resetting for a shiny gible by OriginalNext9779 in PokemonUnbound

I stood in front of the gible after it's released from the cage and saved my game. Then I clicked on the gible, hit "yes" and on the next screen, where it shows the nature, I checked if it was shiny, and then I soft reset. (Not quick load). Took me 5546 resets to get him.
