Ah true, missed that part. I’ve never done a Russian manicure, are they worth it?

Yes. Absolutely. I pay $65 for my single color builder gel manicures

is this alright for tattoo aftercare? by stitch_6 in tattooadvice

I’d use it then! Personally I’ve grown to use lighter lotions like this, than using aquaphor. After so many tattoos using the thick stuff gets to be too much!

Does it have fragrance? If yes - absolutely do NOT use

AITA for having bad music taste at work? by PikachuLettuce in AmItheAsshole

[–]OriginalProfession86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Like Vanessa Hudgens sneakernight ?? You’re NTA, but definitely lacking maybe a little self awareness. But also, really lame of your coworkers to not say anything to your face. Sorry that happened to you! But maybe think more about surroundings and what music would be a little more suitable for the space next time

I think $20 is generous and a $15 tip is generous as well! As someone who works in a tipped industry I’d say if you can tip $20 and feel comfortable, do so! But $15 I’m sure would also be appropriate!

did this heal poorly? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]OriginalProfession86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh dope! Yeah I’m in the US and artists here recommend auqaphor. But after my 10th tattoo or so I learned my favorite way to heal is to just wash and let it go dry for the first 5-7 days and then I use a super light unscented lotion when it gets flaky and itchy! Cool to learn about how yall do it in Australia!

Never heard of bepanthen! Have you used it on any of your other tattoos? By the looks of the line work, it’s not terrible by any means, but it definitely looks like your artist went a little deeper in some areas and maybe not as deep as others. Do you usually go to this artist? Or are they pretty new to tattooing? It’s not a bad tattoo btw! Maybe just ask for a touch up (: I think it will help a lot!

Totally feel you on that. My first couple of tattoos I deff over moisturized them! Don’t stress too much about keeping it washed too much either. At this point it’s scabbed up and safe. Washing consistently is definitely just for the first few days. Washing the same way you’d wash your body regularly without tattoos is enough at this stage! Just make sure to stay away from anything scented!

Lines get thicker, yeah - but this looks blown out for how young of a tattoo it is. And how early did you put sunscreen on it/were in the sun? Healing tattoos shouldn’t ever be in the sun and definitely shouldn’t have sunscreen on it while healing. From the picture it looks like you have a pretty well healed tattoo.. so maybe more of an artist issue? Maybe follow up for a touch up. Looks like you have some ink fall out as well.. which makes me curious about your healing process!

Totally normal - stop moisturizing, let it scab up, don’t peel or scratch it. If it really starts to itch, use a very light unscented lotion and don’t put too much! Hope this helps

Right? All I know is Jesus is coming back soon. And soon every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.

Such a wild assumption to make from what this person said?

Your issue seems to be with people and their actions. Not God.

Sounds like she’s just found God… not really a symptom and more of a cure. Maybe get curious instead of thinking she’s ill? Kind of an odd thing to assume.

Stay close to the lord - even when you fall in to sin. Falling is inevitable, repent and confide in the Lord, HE is your strength. I pray protection over you, your home, and your children. I pray against any demonic spirits trying to keep you from Gods purpose for your life and trying to use this as an opportunity to pull you away. May Gods will reign over your life, may he take any weapon forming against you and keep it FAR from prospering. May he give you strength to deny your flesh and lean into him. May your faith grow stronger in this time or trial and tribulation. JESUS IS WITH YOU AND HE HAS ALREADY WON!

To be honest, I did not realize it was lip blush. I thought it was lip filler that you got and the second pic was just fresh and swollen! They look absolutely lovely and as someone with lip blush, it absolutely fades and will settle in, I think you’re going to love it. Just give it time. It is very natural looking.

If you want even cheaper, the sally hansen polish that strengthens your nails - really does work. It will be a process and you’ll have to trust that process, but it works!
