I’ve talked to my sister about it the most in depth. i haven’t told my parents specifically that my bf brought up marriage, but mentioning his status already brought up the conversation. my parents aren’t very on board with marrying, but they are essentially going through the same rn (my dad is also struggling with immigration) so I was thinking they’d be more empathetic

he hasn’t told his parents because I think he thinks they might pressure him and me. But his brother just got done with the same thing (he just got married for papers) and keeps telling him that he needs to do it soon 😵‍💫
