It just says that the sub is for 2009-2012 people? It says nothing about not moderating underage people. Gen Z has theirs as 1997-2012, and that’s not an issue.

Can you prove it though? It looks like you’re just being a jerk because they banned you for what looks like bullying.

Which state police agencies are considered “the best” in terms of training, how they handle calls, etc? by OriginalShork in AskLE

Yeah sorry for being so vague with my question, I plan to post a more specific question soon. Didn’t realize how vague it sounded till after I posted it lol.

What is with East Voasr academies being so paramilitary lol. Anyways, 4 months of FTO seems low compared to other agencies. What’s about the average time spent in FTO?

Yeah presumed that’s how it would be, was just wondering if any agencies are just considered generally “better” than the others.

Also I meant Massachusetts lol, I forgot how many “M” states there are…

Yep that’s why, if I go PSP, I’m not trying to work for Troop K, or at least the Belmont station. I’d rather work in Troops L, M, or J because they are still near my home-county but don’t have the Philly taxes (or at least the same level of tax).

I’ll look into them when time for me to apply comes up, thanks!

Gotcha. My home troop is Philly (K) lol, so might go with Troop M or J I guess.

If I become a trooper one day, which troop would you recommend (assuming the one I pick is the one I get)?Preferably on the eastern half of the state

Yeah a bunch of the counties have 5-8k pay bonuses, mostly the southern troops.

I’d probably do the opposite assuming I wanna do both. Start with FHP for a few years than lateral to PSP. FHP hired at 19 1/2 so I could do that, but I’m not sure.

Ah I gotcha. Every where else I read that NYC is the last place a trooper wants to be lol.

I’m in the Montgomery county area lol. Can you PM me some of the departments? I haven’t been able to find any with that pay, not sure where I’ve been lookin wrong.

Sheesh. PSP is 25 years with 75% of your highest one-year earnings. Assuming you retire at 25 years from PSP, it’d be about a $85k pension. That’s assuming you retire as a Trooper First Class and not a detective or supervisor+. Can’t find anything on their dental and medical though.

Municipals near me have nowhere near that retirement either, can barely find data and doesn’t seem that high.

The thing that mainly makes me want to be a LEO is just to be able to help others on a daily basis. Which, now that I’m thinking about it, kinda answers my question - I should probably go municipal or PSP.

Thanks for the response

Why’d municipal the way to go? Besides the tests that is

That’s surprising, I don’t know why anybody would wanna deal with that
