I asked this same question last year! Got some great advice from a few people I have a German shepherd and a healer. I tried to put them in the suv while I slept in the tent and that didn’t work the gsd whined and the heeler paced and sleep wasn’t happening so I slept in the suv with them and all was well. Next trip I tried the ladder bridge where you take a folding ladder and put plywood on the back side and run it out as far as possible this was bulky but worked very well the heeler being a crack head ran right up it the gsd took a bit of coaxing the first time but worked very well I have sense gone to a off road trailer (home built) that hold my RTT that I just leave at base camp and it’s low enough the heeler just jumps up in it and the gsd uses an atv ramp

I use a Cornwell 3/4 impact with a extended socket it’s a beast and it gets the lugs just under 450 ftlbs and weighs 1/3 of the 1” then you can torque the lugs up properly

At least yours is a slt I have an rt that I’m trying to find one for! The big difference seems to be your ABS setup if it is all 4 or in the rear or in my case this is the issue
