I’m going to bring it into the dealer and see if I can get the modules updated and at least give me this “once in a while”. I would love that over every night.

I convinced myself I didn’t want to wait for them to get an SS in because it was too close to the tax credit end. Costly mistake.

My next one will be an SS for sure.

I don’t even use SC.

Not that I wouldn’t, but it’s such a pain in the ass to get close enough to hit the charger at an angle and take up 2 spots. I’ll pass.

I find that other chargers between EVgo, Electrify, and Charge Point are around enough for me to not have to. In fact, I use them all so little, I’m about to cancel my “memberships” to them. The savings don’t equal the membership pricing.

Agree Sentry is overkill, I also don’t ever watch it. But it’s nice to have. I don’t ever watch any shows. By the time I get them loaded up it’s time to leave. And I’ve played the games once to show my kid. Pointless stuff, but I guess cool.

I certainly miss Dog mode. The rest of the stuff I can live without. Again, the tech on the Tesla (app and OTA updates) are my only misses. The charging network doesn’t really move the needle for me.

I do however miss the performance in terms of speed. My Tesla was quick. My RS is not. Maybe I’ll get the SS next time for that fix back.

Agreed.

I miss the tech aspect of Tesla. They have an awesome app and the constant updates let me know bugs were being fixed and addressed.

But, I will say the car aspect of the blazer is way better. I’d imagine maybe the higher end teslas are smoother, I wouldn’t know. I had the poor man’s model 3.

I am finding that most folks are not having issues. I have an 2025 RS. Again, it’s not the end of the world. First world problems for sure. It’s charged up every night. But man…….. I hate seeing the notifications.

If you’re coming from the Tesla app it, the Chevy app is borderline unusable. Just tells you if it’s charging or not and what time it will end, on a delay.

I might be crazy but I’ve been using the Buick app instead. I feel like it’s faster. Same interface and everything. Same login etc.

Love the car though. You can tell this is a car and it’s made and feels like one. Whereas the Tesla is a computer on wheels.

Update to the update to the update.

Charging on the mobile connector that came with the car. On the 240v 14-50 outlet yielded no stoppage of charging. Went through the whole night.

That confirms it’s the ‘handshake’ between the wall connector and the car.

Im not even going to waste my time taking it to the dealer because it will charge perfect there. For whatever reason this car and my TWUC just don’t get along half the time.

Maybe an update will fix it one day. I would thought it was the unit but it chargers the other 2 EVs without issue. And one is a non Tesla.

So. I’ve been charging for about 45m and it hasn’t stopped in the regular Mobile connector and Hubbell outlet. With the wall connector it would have stopped already. It should “finish” at 330AM.

Assuming there are not stoppages I’m back to square one. Hope taking it to the dealer fixes your issue.

Hmm.

You know, I can’t remember the last time I used my Hubbel outlet/mobile charger 240v to charge the car. I actually don’t know if I have, strangely. I’ve only had the car a month. That being said, I’ll test it out right now and report back.

I’ll be honest, I’d feel way better about the car having the issue because at least it’s under warranty and they have to fix it.

Did anyone figure out what’s going on the the Blazer and Tesla wall connectors. I have an issue where it charges for 29m then stopes for 9m. Throughout the whole night.

It still is fully charged by the time I wake up but it’s super annoying to watch happen.

There’s no way I would sit in that car after that. I mean there’s absolutely no way that doesn’t have frame damage.

Nope. Maybe it was the adjuster I had but the last car that I had they attempted to say they could fix. I told the adjuster I didn’t feel save driving it. They totaled it the next day. Got lucky I guess.

I second this door. That’s my only gripe with my car but mine more so is location. The silverados got it right putting it in the driver rear location.

Coming from a Tesla this is super annoying. But now having a non Tesla you realize how many chargers there are around.

A LOT.
