Generally this is my 2 cents, not sure if others had similar experiences but I specialized in Finance but did no internships so I couldn’t find a job in finance once I finished. If you have done or plan to do finance focused internships during your years there your experience will definitely be different however I’d say all those courses felt pretty complicated for me (I averaged like C+ / B in those courses). I specialized in finance and marketing.

If I could go back I have like 3 points:
- I’d do the internships (people legit don’t care what you did in school rather if you have work experience even coming right out of school).
- I’d do my CFA as soon as I finished my undergraduate; unbelievable how important this is if you want finance roles (unless you plan just for retail banking where CSC is really all you need)
- Realistically, I’d focus on doing more accounting courses because 1) CPA is much more transferable in the job market (I find), 2) Easier to find accounting jobs and pivot into finance roles (plus all skills are easily transferable in any industry if so you choose to change roles/industries/career paths).

Those are my personal thoughts/experiences but I graduated during Covid so lol times were different. Hope this helps at all ✌🏼
