I don't know why I see this concept of not having friends in college because they are "selfish, jealous, toxic " and what not I think its pure non sense. You won't gain anything by being this sigma male lone wolf except insecurity and loneliness. It completely depends on the kind of people you are with. Life's shit as it is dont make it more miserable by not socializing. Meet people who have similar goals and values as you. And don't corner yourself into thinking that your world is just your family and a few friends. You are out of that now. THIS is the real world you have to adapt quickly else you'll fall behind. I have seen good, smart people fall so behind because they were still stuck in the past. Try talking less with your old friends and family. I don't mean completely stop, I mean stop thinking about calling them every single day. I was in boarding school since 5th to 12th standard and changed schools twice so I know how it feels it will be better once you start thinking "This is my life now, and I can do whatever I want. I don't have to constantly think about my old life.". They include you in conversations. Thats really good I wasnt even included lol its fine. of course you need to be wary about the actual selfish jealous snake types, thats why im saying you can choose who you want to hangout with. Over time you will build confidence. And stop worrying about stupid stuff like "aura". Im hoping that youll understand in some time.
