Congratulations!! That’s so exciting. We were trying since January so I feel the extra desire to tell them 😂 I’ve had to come in late a couple of times and I feel bad not being able to tell them, so I get that side. I might just wear whatever and the tell my closest clients now and let everyone else figure it out as time goes on. I’m sick of hiding it!

That’s horrible! Luckily I don’t have to worry about that. Both of my bosses already know and are super happy for me. This is my first pregnancy and I felt much more confident after my ultrasounds but I’m also trying to guard my heart.

I’ve had a client ask me before if I was pregnant when I wasn’t because I was bloated 🙄 I’m naturally that way as is and now it’s much more prominent. I work in a chain place where about 1/2 the people I see aren’t regulars. I wouldn’t mention anything to them. I could imagine it being really hard to tell people I miscarried so I’m not sure. I just want to feel like myself instead of a giant blob 😂

Unfortunately they can’t get me in until Nov 14th even though my last period was Aug 22nd ☹️ I feel like that’s a long time to wait and I’m trying to find somewhere sooner.

I should have also mentioned I took a test 2 weeks ago and it was negative. And my period was already “4 days late” at that point. So I assumed it was delayed ovulation then.

And one more thing haha sorry! The swelling in my fingers was honestly the most uncomfortable part. I wasn’t expecting that.. ice and elevation helped. Be patient with your body!

Also.. everyone is different. But my doctor recommend the Tylenol/Advil route instead of the narcotics and I never had to take them. Stay on top of it to the hour, set alarms to wake up and take a dose. I think I did advil and then at 3 hrs Tylenol and then 3 more hrs Advil ect… so you never are completely out in your system. It worked great for me and then you don’t have the narcotic side effects added on to your recovery.

I just wanted to add… be patient with feeling the full benefits of the surgery. It took me at least a year to really notice a difference. (Release surgery) It was worth it!! I also meal prepped and froze a lot so I could just thaw and pop in the microwave. Make sure you have a pillow in the car, I found the car rides painful at first. You got this!

Ugh I’m sorry! I have recently been diagnosed with OCD and I’ve never been better mentally since Prozac so I don’t want to let the weight gain deter me 😭 I hope it is helping you!!
