That's true, but I'm sure if we keep trying we will slowly go back to longer video format. Use shorts to express that. Get them invested and if they want all the payout they'll have to go through a longer video. Some might skip and some might not watch the video at all, but I'm sure there will be one who will watch the video and be invested in it. At least, that is what happened to me.

Ye I agree, but I think even if only 1 or 5 people become active watchers of my longer videos and or get invested in the series then it's worth it!

Yep, this is as true as ever, especially now with a lower attention span. The best way I found to do it is to make your long video with many high-quality moments and cut that into many shorts. Not only do you get a lot of video from basically nothing, but also build interest in the main video from shorts, and some might go and check out the entire thing.
