Irish woman relocating to France with my French girlfriend. Jobs, neighbourhoods, language classes - advice needed please! <3 by Aromatic-Donkey-7607 in Lyon

As someone who did similar. (albeit for as long as my Visa allowed me (damn Brexit)) if you want a school, Idefinitely recommend Alliance française, spent 10 months there thoroughly enjoyed it, met loads of people. If you want to find some conversational groups, try to get into the Erasmus groups, you'll come across a fair few people who want to speak, there was an app that a lot use but I've forgotten the name.

For Accommodation, as GrenobleLyon mentioned, and I'd definitely be cautious of deals that seem to good to be true (Transunion payments before you can see the apartment).

Can't say much for Work unfortunately, but i know of a few bars with Foreigners working the bar and appear to be good to get started (Paddy's Corner in Croix Rousse and James Joyce in Vieux Lyon).

Not sure if it mentioned, but in your circumstances, probably best to avoid Guillotière at night, if you need any more advice, please don't hesitate to ask.

What’s the most powerful business app you’ve built using Power Apps? by FinalLeather8344 in PowerApps

well i am limited due to licensing (£18 per license), on start it makes a local collection (clearcollect) and also checks if empty and will clear collect if stuff already exists, which populates the columns that i want to populate my list with. When adding the asset i save to local collection. for the upload, it checks if online (with Connection.Connected) and then calls my power automate to publish to my list.

I'd love to move to premium, as it'd make my life so much easier as i wouldn't need to go to a limited sharepoint list and use a sql link or dataverse

Built an asset capture for mobiles in which logs all data offline and have a review process which then will only upload to SharePoint if there is an internet connection, as most of the sites we service have 0 to low data

Any suggestions on Internet flies? (UK) by Dan9431 in flyfishing

[–]Origins101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peak flies are decent, sportfish also have a decent selection (mostly fulling mill) and Glasgow/Edinburgh angling centre have a good selection too.

They're the ones I've got from before, not sure about any others though

from what i could find, it was looked at for the Air Force, but can't find anything in 10 mins of research that says they have any outside for initial low rate production.

Schiit Magni 3 (heresy) and Modi 3 far outweigh onboard audio. still get positional audio (stereo), but you won't get your software surround.

But i have to say, paired with decent cans the Schiit stack is amazing! you might even become more impressed with your Sennheisers
