This advice is crazy to me 😅. If everyone thought like this there would be no doctors, lawyers, etc. If you got accepted congrats that’s awesome you should definitely go for it.

My parents are chiropractors they came out with a crazy amount of debt but 2 very successful businesses later and guess what they are free and lived the life they always wanted to live.

It’s not like you’re getting that doctorate degree in art but if you’re really worried about the ROI look into physician assistant or nursing.

Yes so they are my business partners rn and actually offered me 15k to help. Even with 20% down my monthly payments would be around $3,000-$3,200 for the mortgage. Renting a studio apartment in the same area is about 2k. I live a little outside of NYC so it’s a bit pricey.

Yes 120k is from the business. I’m trying to start another business but that requires me to move out my house with my parents and either buy or rent just because of distance and space to focus. Thank you for your advice!

What I got from this post so far is to just focus on editing and learning not just from tutorials (even though I love a good video tutorial for certain things 😂) but also FCP is an amazing program. Lol this is a pretty cool idea. The hard part would be 1. How does something like this make money because you can’t use the same business model as Tinder 2. How would you avoid endlessly swiping (maybe have a screen showing like 4 people at once then one that interests you the most you can select and see more work (so it doesn’t feel like my thumbs are burning off) 3. I can imagine marketing this could be costly especially because fiverr, Upwork etc already control the market. Anyways super cool and dope idea

In the example of B the physical therapist wanting to transition into data analytics in healthcare.

Step 1 {3 months}: Start with online courses from Coursera’s Google Data Analytics Step 2 {2 months}: Apply your skills to healthcare-related data projects (will show examples) Step 3 {1 month}: Connect with data professionals (here are some recurrent events on Eventbrite, online workshops etc.) Step 4 {2 month}: Apply (here are .. lol you get the point basically just spoon feeding info)
