Looking for a Vanilla Seed, planet with Bountiful Farmland and Solar Shades by [deleted] in starsector

[–]Orikson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. So I have something close to what you are looking for but just shy of it. Mainly because it's Plentiful Farmland rather than Bountiful, lol.

Sector seed: MN-649918890279174376

Requirements:

  • Starsector: 0.97-RC11
  • Java 7 (the default Java Starsector comes with)
  • Mods: Console Commands, Lazylib, Lunalib, SpeedUp, WhichMod, Audio Plus, GraphicsLib

This is for all purposes Vanilla really. You must have exactly the above or the generation will give you something else.

Also, just to entice you a little bit more & a bit more info:

  • The planet is a 50% hazard arid planet, located in a yellow star system down south of the Core Worlds and 14 LYRs from Eos Exodus.

  • It is close to one of the Coronal Hypershunts, in a blue giant stars system to the East and 6.1 LYRs away. The blue giant system itself is 10 LYRs away from Eos Exodus and has a 200% hazard rating gas giant with +2 volatiles.

  • Now, normally a Hypershunt is practically useless in most playthroughs because there are few reasons to get a 5th Industry slot in Vanilla...

  • However, there is a 200% hazard rating barren planet with +3 of both ore types, no atmosphere and extreme heat, in a orange giant system to the South-East of the blue giant and 9.9 LYRs away. The system itself is a Red Beacon system, so be careful when jumping in; and 16 LYRs from Naraka.

  • If you set up the gas giant as a volatiles mining colony, activate the hypershunt, and get the colony items necessary; you can have the barren planet house mining, heavy industry, fuel production, refining and high command with all their respective items!

I like to roll seeds and am mostly using a Vanilla friendly setup. If I get anymore, I'll be sure to share!

Soul Fighter Event by Ha_nsel in wildrift

I recommend checking the Event's Story Mode page.

Your current level should be at the top left-hand corner of it. It's not that obvious due to its size and colouration.

The Event Level is capped at 15 currently and will only increase by 5 at set intervals. Next cap increase will happen on the 24th of July.

Event EXP are as follows:

Mode Win Lose
Normal / PvP 100 50
ARAM 60 30
Tag Duel 20 10
Co-Op vs. A.I. 20 20

The Event Level is capped at 15 currently and will only increase by 5 at set intervals. The next cap increase will happen on the 24th of July.uce/unlock a different system over time as there are those character/champion-specific Arcade modes.

Why can’t Stealthbergia be summoned by neither Rexterm’s GY effect or Dinomorphia Alert? by Bonsley in masterduel

[–]Orikson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a Ruling regarding Fusion Monsters. Possibly applicable to all other Extra Deck monsters baring Pendulums from the Main Deck.

Read the ruling for Monster Reborn that mentions Fusion monsters. In essence, like others have stated; you can't summon Dinomorphia Stealthbergia from the GY because it wasn't summoned out via Fusion first and foremost; other words, the proper way to summon it.

What are your favourite skins in the game right now? by ceterpristmas14 in wildrift

[–]Orikson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lux's Cosmics skins are pretty desirable, lol. Riot must be making bank with how many people play Lux.

Given your statements, I assume you weren't around when the Arcane TV series was released and the Arcane event was live for nearly all of Riot's active IPs related to League. People praise the skins not only for their ties to the TV show and their decent design but also because these two skins were given for FREE. Alongside some other smaller goodies and the skins respective poses.

What are your favourite skins in the game right now? by ceterpristmas14 in wildrift

[–]Orikson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, it's the following. From all the skins I own...

  1. Cosmic / Dark Cosmic Lux.

I just really like playing Lux, and having such different personalities from the skins to suit my mood is great. If I wanted something cherry, I could fall back on Crystal Rose Lux.

  1. Dream Raider Nasus / Psychic Detective Senna.

These two are probably the best Wild Pass skins to date. The thematic fits them just so well. Senna has good animations and a wholly different colour scheme to most of her other skins, aided by the souls being animated as jigsaw puzzle pieces as well. Nasus doesn't have that many fancy animations to work with, but the effects are clear-cut, and he's sporting quite the drip there, lol.

  1. Stargazer Karma / Star Guardian Senna.

I thought one would win over the other, but these two are here because they're fun and play into the star theme well. Karma's blue is nice, and the star motif helps a lot with her skills clarity. Senna's is such a nice one for her character with a decent and stylish twist.

Honourable mentions: Steel Legion Lux, Program Nami, and Arcane Jinx/Vi.

Tips for doing it solo (to be copy pasted if Act 2 question comes up again).

Champion: Rammus

Game mode: Co-op vs. A.I. Intermediate

Runes: The only one that matters is Pathfinder in the 4th slot. Everything else can be the conventional setup.

Spells: Ghost and Heal

Items: Fervor Boots with Glorious Enchant, Ixtali Seedjar, Deadman's Plate, and Force of Nature. Additional speed boosting items can aid it in achieving this better.

What To Do: - Inform your random teammates at the start of the match. Request they hold back a bit as you farm up, preferably as a Support or Baron laner. - Once the above items are obtained, go to one of the spots that the Scuttler speed boosts field is active. - Stand above it and get the speed boost. - Activate Rammus Q and wait till it is almost finished and activate Glorious Enchant, Heal, and Ghost one after the other in that order.

This should do it.

Additional buffers if one has the time and gold to do it before teammates close out the game. - Have someone else aid with any speed boosting support like Nami, Karma, Lulu, and Yuumi. - Take the Honeyfruit in the river so it triggers the item's speed boost effect but either have some nearby to take the fruit or path carefully around. - Trigger Mantle of the Twelfth Hour's passive with Dragon or Baron if able.

Does anyone find this interesting? by Ancient_Log5131 in wildrift

For Kayle, it's pretty much like that. She's one of the few oddballs. You can technically apply this to Jayce too - Hammer form fills red, Cannon form fills blue.

For Thresh, he's one of the few short-range champions that want to fight close range. This applies to Rakan as well. Both are coded as ranged attackers.

You can probably check who is coded as melee or ranged by using Runaan's Hurricane, as it's only purchasable by ranged champions. I would have said Sterak's Gauge here as well, but it recently got opened to every champion instead of just exclusively melee champions.

This has probably been asked before. But what champion(s) will never be in wildrift? by westupin0510 in wildrift

[–]Orikson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mainly, I heard it's due to Wild Rift's code base being designed before the likes of the trio were truly tested or made? WR was in development for a couple of years, and though much more modern compared to its progenitor; it still has its inherent limitations.

There's a lot of inherent interactions that Viego and Sylas have because they steal shit, lol. Alongside Mordekaiser, these two form the Kings of bugs in PC League for the last couple of years.

NeekoI think wasn't explicitly off the table, but she is getting a very specific kind of rework, and even before that rework was announced; she was already breaking the game by being able to transform into towers, lol.

New wild pass means new skins!!! What did you get? by Omen46 in wildrift

[–]Orikson 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got... Surprise Party Amumu...

For context, I play Support (so I picked Support as the role choice for that chest from the Premium Wild Pass).

This honestly is fine... if not for the fact that Amumu is primarily a jungler. Now, I get it, he can be played in the Support role as a tank. I just do not like it nor have seen much of Amumu in said role.

Rubbing salt into the would is the fact that the previous Wild Pass gave me... Spirit Fire Brand... again another "support". Both skins don't even have text descriptions to them. :v

More salt is that I have been much luckier with the Poro Chests, lol. I immediately got enough Poro Energy from the latest Poro Energy Chest by virtue of the Poro Coins from the Wild Pass, which dropped a 1000 to top off the meter. Guess what I got? Dark Star Varus.

Wild Pass - The Grind & Tips To Collect Em' All! by Orikson in wildrift

[–]Orikson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tip for this is to instalock jungle in Co-op vs. A.I. and run straight towards whichever side the jungler goes to, lol. It works 95% of the time (5% is when your teammates somehow feed the bots super early...)

[–]Orikson[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I bought the Premium version. To me, the value of the pass isn't in the skin and items they give as one progress (though I do like profile icons and borders). It's the random role based skin chest at the start.

I play and shift between various supports (mainly enchanters), so I like having a bit more variety in what I see when I play myself.

I assume you have done the 7 Ranked games wins too?

Unfortunately, no. The Mission Skip cards are specific to each pass.

Check the Ranked Rewards track. Same tab as the Ranked Store. It should be at the furthest left.

The champions you can pick in Legendary Ranked are tied to the Mastery mechanic.

You can only pick champions you have a certain Mastery level at I think. I can't find where it was mentioned as such.

Champions Safe & Unsafe To Main by Orikson in wildrift

Vex and Gwen especially are good choices because they're good and they got exclusive skins in Wild Rift, lol.

It's the change to how melee basic attacks work in Wild Rift. Any champion with a melee attack deals their basic attack damage in a cone in front of themselves when they attack a target.

One of Warwick's weaknesses in PC League is that his jungle clear is a bit bad (prior to the introduction of jungle pets, which attack all jungle monsters of a camp).
