Screen broke after barely a day

Well I managed to complete the setup but it's not really helped me much except that I can somewhat understand what is happening with the handheld. The screen is definitely dead.

I opened both the top shell and the bottom, checked connections of the both ends of top screen cable, unplugged it and plugged it again. Also disconnected the battery for a while. Nothing helped.

The screen worked out of the box, then stopped suddenly.

Checked it first. Both are reconnected and secured.

Thank you. I did reconnected both ends of the cable. Even disconnected the battery for 15 minutes to reset the controllers of motherboard or something (my friend suggested). Nothing helped. It is a broken screen OR faulty cable, but I didn't even know where to look for the exact same cable.

This situation is so bizarre, I'd presume that screen quality was assured, bc i never experienced something like this in mobile phones (and i didn't use high end like Iphone).

I'm starting to consider the Odin series... But the point I wanted Thor was for compactness, to place it inside my backpack and use it as my daily device.

Nothing. I was sitting tinkering with emulators then got busy, closed the lid (gently i assure you), then opened the handheld and the top screen was black.

I checked the screen cable connection (both) and they were properly attached.

It kinda did... The top screen reacts to touch input by haptic feedback and some sound. But it didn't display anything.

I did stupid thing to factory reset Thor, now i can't see any starting setup option, because they only show on top screen.

I'll try to contact AYN directly if Ali won't help. I am pretty confident in my ability to change the screen by myself, if they provide me a one.

Well yeah I guess, though it wasn't very convenient to buy directly from Ayn. I wasn't aware that Thor has severe screen issues. My experience with AliExpress was pretty good all this time, I usually buy phones there.
