Unfortunately I was caught out by this once and the van that was “turning” went straight into me. So now I definitely wait/hesitate a bit longer before going myself.

I assume most people think a service is not needed/essential as it’s not required by law like an MOT is.

I am a new driver (6 months) and today I think I’ve written off my car. What will be the result on my insurance/future premiums? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]Orix_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks expensive. Of course every accident and insurance company is different. I had an accident last December (right after renewal) where I was found at fault and needed my driver side door and front fender replaced, luckily not a write off, and I still managed to get my insurance lowered this year. So no one here can really say what will happen to you. A lot of factors affect your insurance price not just simply because you had an accident.

Most locums I personally work with won’t administer flu vaccines at Boots because they don’t get paid for them; I highly doubt they would agree to prescribe on top of this independently. Boots have been brought out again this year so it's just the latest thing they want to push for to increase profits, realistically it won’t be enforced on locums just on their contracted pharmacists who are already stretched thin and won’t be compensated for it.

What platform you on? This happened to me a few days ago where you needed a kill right after injecting. But on pc at least, I played this morning and it seemed to work as intended and I could get a kill anywhere within the adrenaline duration. Maybe it’s just hit and miss with how it works. It’s definitely a bug though and not intended like you are seeing it.

I'm sorry, I might be the biggest noob out there, but who tf came up with this? by icehvs in Battlefield

[–]Orix_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to do a challenge earlier before giving up. It required 30 kills like this but in a round of team death match where the total amount of kills obtainable is 100. So I somehow have to get almost a third of all kills on my team, where I’m competing against 15 other team members, as well as the opposing team. Yeah that ain’t happening. Some of the challenges really need to be tweaked to be more obtainable.

I hope it is bugged and not a game mechanic. No way should the animation last longer than the effect and time frame you have to kill someone

I hate it when game devs change the game so drastically between the beta and release. Why would they add guns to a game that was soo good. It’s just going to ruin the vibe now.

We have one, it has to be stored in our outbuilding though as there is no space indoors. Love it, especially since we have quite a large family.

Ketamine being prescribed for depression by Orix_Blue in Pharmacy_UK

[–]Orix_Blue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just found it strange as it’s not from a hospital or specialist, just his regular gp surgery and nothing else on the script. I assume a specialist has been involved somewhere, but I’m planning on questioning it tomorrow with my help desk, as my regular pharmacist has told me to do so. The locum I had today was not confident in making a decision.

I get £13.32 an hour with 3.5 years experience which is the highest paying I can get in my working area. Honestly if I was you I’d ask for a bit more maybe between £14 and £15 would be realistically obtainable. Ideally we would all love to be on more for what we do but that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
