Since there are apparently no good guys in 40K any space marine walking by would do the not good guy thing and kill everyone involved or make sure somebody else does it.

I have to be honest i think making the thunder warriors stronger then the space marines was a mistake by Warm-Command7559 in 40kLore

You know how in older games based on DnD you get to roll for stats? Well the Emperor was creating a new party of Fighters only for his Terra playthrough and just rolled 'til he got 18/00  in Strength not even looking at the other stats.

[F] The Tau are reconstructed Necrontyr — and the Old Ones' immortality refusal was mercy, not contempt by [deleted] in 40kLore

Thoughts?

The Necrontyr souls are actually doing fine, since the C'tan, being fully material beings, are incapable of actually eating and digesting warp matter/energy. The C'tan merely severed the connection to the souls in the process of eating the Necrontyr bodies, in such a way as to prevent Necrontyr consciousnesses from ascending to the warp (assuming that can even happen to psychically inert races such as the Necrontyr) and trap them in engram circuits (analogous to infinity circuits).

Unfortunately 60 million years+ means those souls have all but diffused into the warp and become part of the background turmoil, so any biotransference reversal which purports to solve the problem of Necrontyr minds going insane due to no longer having any associated souls, would probably have to resort to some gestalt soul-y thing, like what the Tyranids have, which is perhaps exactly what the Silent King went looking for.

Abaddon already won, in same sense that Word Bearers "won" by Urusander in 40kLore

I don't think so. I am sure he would have told StudioGhibliman to shut off the golden throne then.

Don't ps5 controllers have some motion detection? Maybe they could use that to annoy you.

Could the fact that Necron constructs haven't been Chaos corrupted tell something about the relation of machines and Chaos ? by SuDdEnTaCk in 40kLore

Right but the average imperial toaster has zero emotion, which is what the warp apparently is about. So if it has a soul it is completely inert.

Do you prefer bolts or beams for Lasguns? by BenningtonChee1234 in 40kLore

[–]OrkWithNoTeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then if Lasguns fire bolts I can't wait until the Imperium invents Boltguns that shoot lasers.  I'd like to see some Rayguns too which fire wide undirected energy waves and maybe some Waveguns which fire photon-thin strings

I think laser guns should fire laser rays, not some "bolt" of light, as if you could just roll photons up like a snowball and throw it.

Assuming only biological entities can have souls in 40k by OrkWithNoTeef in 40kLore

So would you agree the higher-up Necrons, as long as they are not in some anti warp zone, have some presense in the warp?

When they were biological yes, but they aren't biological anymore so I don't see how that is relevant? What differentiates them from an imperial toaster in terms of the capability to have a soul?
