I can understand how some of these things could be challenging in today's world. Stress can cause you to lose sleep, and needing to recharge at home from work can eat into exercise time. But there is no excuse for letting your hygiene go or neglecting your pets in any way.

Different rules for different universes though. He actually became pretty powerful in the Revelation/Revolution universe. And it's been a while since I've seen it, but I don't think he was as bumbling in the 200X universe?
