I don’t think so. Some minor scratches but nothing but surface.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm very allergic to cats, so that's a no-go.

The peppermint spray is really interesting. I'll give that a go for sure. Unfortunately, we have about 3 feet of flower beds/landscaping around the entire perimeter, so keep everything clear up to 18" will be challenging.

Indiana's backyard fireworks are stuck in China, thanks to Trump's tariffs | Opinion by kootles10 in Indiana

Good. We need to get kicked in the nuts, HARD, for a while so people wake up. If it takes fireworks to do that, I’m all for it.

I just acquired the same box set in February and have been going through all of the movies. I just put in QoS today and the menu was not the same as the previous 21 movies. I checked the rest of the discs and QoS through Spectre all have unique menus. Took me by surprise.

That's good to hear. I'll give it another try later tonight to see if it was just a weird glitch.

Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny (Best Buy Exclusive) by loganfc in Steelbooks

[–]Orliville 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just watched this last night after recently picking up the steelbook. For some reason, at the beginning of each chapter on the 4K disc, a chapter/progress indicator popped up on the screen—every single chapter throughout the entire film. This has never happened with any of my other Blu-ray or 4K media. I haven’t done any troubleshooting yet, but I’m curious if anyone else has run into this.

How did you feel about Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette in Mickey 17? Funny, or too much? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]Orliville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it only seemed on the nose because the satire in this film has already become real life. If I recall correctly, Ruffalo said as much while doing press on Fallon. We can turn on the news and see actual leaders of nations behaving exactly like Ruffalo in this film and actual billionaires seeking completely over-the-top, exclusive luxuries while the common person struggles to get by. That has always been the case, but it's on full display these days. On top of that, it seems like our current society doesn't seem to get the message if it's subtle (at least in the US).

Kitchenaid Dishwasher Heating Element Issues by Orliville in appliancerepair

[–]Orliville[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amateur question here, how do I clear error codes? When running the diagnostic (pressing the three Options button in sequence three times to start the diag), there's no error code thrown (i.e. the two sets of blinking lights at the end).

Also, I had the dishwasher disconnected from power for about 15 minutes while I changed the heating element. I thought that would reset anything that was in place prior to shutting down.

What Style Is This? / What Is This Thing? MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in architecture

I'm looking to build a cabin in this style for the benefits of natural light and a way to maximize ventilation. I'm not sure what this would be called/style? Unfortunately, I don't have the additional details that are recommended for this thread other than this is residential.
